| Q. How does Models Direct work? |
A. Since 1990 we have built one of Europes’ biggest model and promotion agencies bringing together clients and male models of all ages.
Everyday we are asked for men to appear in films, advertisements, catalogues, shows and events and our team search on our model database inputting our clients requirements.
A match is made, fees are agreed with our models and the booking takes place.
It’s that simple - we enjoy it & do it well. |

Q. ‘I am new to modelling,
what
will I have to do?’ |
A. Male models feature in advertisements for everything from food, drink, fashion, lifestyle and health care, to name just a few - guess where they come from - model agencies and very often, Models Direct!
Clients ask us for male models and we send a selection of our models’ pictures online for authorised film, advertising, fashion and TV companies to access, using a limited access security code.
For your safety and peace of mind our models are identified only by a reference number.
Once one of our models is selected, we agree availability, the type of booking and an acceptable fee for you.
We have more than 18 years experience of male model bookings nationally and internationally for all types of work which our Co-ordinators will be pleased to share with you. |

| Q. What types of clients do you deal with? |
A. Any business requiring individual(s) for paid modelling and promotional work. These can include Photographers, Advertising Agencies, Film and Television production companies, Fashion houses worldwide.

| Q. 'How do I get bookings?' |
A. Models who are put forward and selected for a booking are contacted and every detail is confirmed in writing including, time, place and model fee.
We collect the models assignment fee from our client (see 6.1 terms and conditions) and keep it in our client account. From this, we retain one third as our agency fee and forward the remainder to our model(s).
We agree with our model(s) the fee they will receive before any assignment and confirm the one third proportion we retain as our agency fee.
At our National UK Head Office, we have a full time team of professional
Co-ordinators on duty every day, working exclusively on behalf of all our models and our worldwide clients.
Be under no illusion, modelling is extremely competitive for everyone, like so many high profile opportunities. There are no guarantees, the choice of model rests with our client. |

| Q. Can I work for other model agencies? |
A. Yes, of course. The whole point of modelling is to work whenever you can. Be seen as much as possible in the hope more people notice your look.
Our role is to enhance that effort and we will do so at every opportunity, we expect you to as well, after all, it is all about you. |

| Q. What is the pay as a model? |
A. From ten pounds an hour to hundreds of pounds a day and anything in between! We agree model fees, when we offer a booking. Model fees vary depending on, who it’s for, how long the model is required and usage of the resulting pictures. For example, television, film, catalogues, advertising, magazines or brochures etc. and whether the campaign is local, national or international.
There is a big buzz appearing in an advertisement or film.
Our males models enjoy the experience of being photographed and filmed, being the centre of attention and this is what modelling is all about!

Our male model fees are agreed with each of our models before every assignment.
We collect the model fee in full from our client and retain one third as our agency commission.

| Q. Do I need to travel? |
| A. You may. Wherever possible our clients try and choose models living within say 50m / 80km of them to avoid having to pay additional traveling costs. However, in just as many cases the 'look' is more important and clients will ask us for a national search. Either way there are no traveling costs on your part and we agree with you before every assignment how best to get there. |

| Q. ‘am I the right shape, size and look for a model?' |
A. Our clients have a ceaseless demand for new models.
Every male model application we receive is checked carefully by our experienced Model Co-ordinators and compared with our existing male models before being submitted to our National Selection Panel for a decision to be represented.
If the National Selection Panel answer is ‘Yes’ and we are happy to represent you, ahead of other new model applicants - we will confirm to you in writing. |

| Q. What is 'Model of the Month'? |
A. Every month our National Selection Panel selects winning models from each of the categories and age groups to come forward and be our latest ‘Model of the Month’.
The prize is worth £95 and rockets the winner to ‘Superstar’ status to enjoy all the online ‘Superstar’ features and benefits. |

| Q. Is it going to cost me anything? |
A. In a word, Yes - although nothing to take the first few steps and find out by dipping your toe in the water, what modelling is all about.
Most agencies will charge something upfront at the outset, either hundreds of pounds for photographs, courses, portfolios or even personal assessments and then go on charging their models a percentage of the fees they earn. There is no cost to apply and follow this introduction to modelling with us.
Our National Selection Panel will acknowledge receipt of your email application and pictures you attach (or send by post), before giving a FREE PERSONAL ASSESMENT to you a few days later when they actually meet. Only if you are successful and made an Offer of a Model Representation are you then invited to make a very modest contribution towards the initial publication costs equal to no more than £42.66 a year. At this stage there's no cost, its totally free and we're keen to see your look. |
