Show sends up sales

Brenda Sach's lingerie and nightwear show
sent Hull sales soaring.

Brenda, a sales adviser on lingerie, organised
the fashion show, drafting in three models
from supplier Models Direct to promote the
collection's range of lingerie and nightwear.

She explained: "One of the objectives set by my manager in my personal development programme is to promote 'active' selling and I thought that staging a show would be a good way to do it. It took me four weeks to organise and the day was a great success, with sales of lingerie up 26%, nightwear up 47% and takings up £2,000 on the previous week."
