Look also at our article on courses, Frankie was determined he ‘had what it takes’ and may have needed a little help with his ‘look’ updating but certainly had a very positive attitude, and has been involved in drama, acting and related areas. It is really encouraging to see.
Your talents may include singing, acting, dancing and sporting achievements. We have Lauren - a fantastic success and on her way to achieving a lot more!! (click here for further details) Well done and good luck Lauren.
Please remember you may get your photograph printed in image and you can receive a ‘thank you' gift from us for your efforts and contribution.
So make a little effort, let us know what you are doing and let’s see those articles, Write in to your Co-ordinator by post, you can include any photographs of your ‘best moments’ or you can e-mail your Co-ordinator.
Address them to me here at Central Studios,

| Seasonal Change |
|
Now that winter is approaching, you may need to adapt your daily routine slightly to accommodate for the change in weather.
Face
The coldness coupled with powerful central heating has a tendency to dry out skin and it is wise to apply a film of moisturiser to compensate for this. Lipgloss too will help to prevent your lips becoming dry and chapped; if you’re not too keen on bright colours, clear glosses are always available, as well as the essential beauty staple, petroleum jelly.
It is important to keep your circulation good in winter too as many people have a tendency to look pale during the cold months. You can help combat this problem by exercising. Make up with warm, earthy or beige tones as opposed to bright or cool blue tones will also help lift your look.
Hands
It is important to care for your hands too though! It is advised that you do not use harsh soaps in winter as these have a tendency to dry out skin on the hands and around the nails. Always wash and dry your hands well after contact if it really is necessary and make sure you use a good barrier cream, such as one containing lanolin and also that your diet contains plenty of vitamins A and B which will keep your skin looking healthy from the inside. |
|
Hair
Hair can be damaged by the cold too! A good shampoo is your most essential thing, even more important than a good conditioner. However, it is always best to use both. You could also try using a deep nourishing conditioner every so often; a few tablespoons of gently heated olive oil massaged into long hair, wrapped into a warm |

towel, left for a quarter of an hour and then rinsed out will make your hair unbelievably smooth and glossy.
Above all though, look after your general health! The most attractive thing is a healthy, warm glow that radiates from the inside, and that is something no amount of make-up can create.
