Don’t forget your nails
Your nails are always on display and a set of
perfectly groomed nails, for men and women, is
one of the most coveted beauty features; yet it's
frustratingly difficult to get and maintain.
Many of
us do not get the time to go for a manicure so get
into a routine every week -- and it takes about 10
minutes, from start to finish!
Step 1: Use cuticle oil across the base of the nail,
this will condition your cuticle and nail and also
soften the cuticle so it's easier to push back.
Step 2: File nails. Choose a shape you like, either
square or oval. Manicure experts say that your nail
tip's shape should mirror the curve of your cuticle.
File nails in one direction only and avoid filing into
the sides of your nails, which will make them weak
and prone to breaking.
Step 3: Push back cuticles. By now the cuticle oil
you applied will have softened your cuticles, which
makes them ready to be pushed back. Gently
place the wooden stick flat against your nail and
gently push toward your finger.
Step 4: Buff away. For men and for
those women who don't
have the time or
patience for nail
polish, buffing is
perfect. Use the
roughest side of
the buffer across
each nail as this
smoothes away
ridges and
discoloration. Then rub
the smooth side over
each nail until it shines.

cream as this will
help to protect
the hands and
