When photographer Alexander Caminada was planning a lifestyle shoot, he turned to Models Direct for the right person. Alex was looking for a girl who looked ‘normal’ and not too glamorous, yet healthy and fit to help him produce some new images to place with stock agencies – and he selected Louise Ward.
“She had an uncanny ability to produce just the right expressions, postures and mannerisms that I wanted,” says Alex. “At the end of the shoot I had more choice than I expected to get out of four hours working together.”
Alex says Louise’s attention to detail and preparation before the shoot really helped in getting the right look – she took along a large wardrobe selection from sporty gear to smart casual.
Louise says: “The assignment went really well and Alex seemed happy with the shots he got. On the whole, a great day – I can’t wait for my next one!”

Model: Jordan
Five-year-old Jordan had fun in the sun when he was chosen for a photoshoot that would help promote Weststar Holidays. Playing in rock pools and making daisy chains were all in a day’s work for the happy youngster – mum Suzanne says: “Jordan had a great time, he didn’t even know he was working!”
Andy Gill, Senior Designer on the project said: “Once Jordan had gained the confidence of his co model for the day he soon warmed to the task ahead. We have enjoyed particular success with the rock pool shot which has been used in many of our publications to date.”
