Hi! Welcome to our special spring edition of modelling news, views and opinions.
The only place where success comes before work, is in the dictionary! - we have started off a fantastic year with more and more of our models than ever working in film sets, fashion houses and promotional assignments all over the country.
We have some great new clients that we are proud to be working for - Coca Cola, Marks and Spencers and Fuji films, to name a few. They have discovered the simplicity of making just one call to our National Assignments Office and mobilising models in every high street throughout the UK.
It wasn't long ago before a company's Marketing Director would have to call 30 or so agencies to have the same effect - Models Direct is the now the obvious only answer.
We still have vacancies for new models in many areas of the UK.
Two great new Co ordinators have come to join the team here at Central Studios, Jenny Tweed and Monique Cangy both extremely dynamic with a wealth of commercial experience.
Monique, within only a few days of being here, had eight models plus standbys all out on a modelling assignment on one day! Pure Design were creating a Local Government Authority website - a huge organisational responsibility for a new Co ordinator, it was a great success.
Jenny is also making an enormous impact with clients and new models and contributing to the team effort for model support on behalf of all the models registered with us. Using her professional editing and publishing skills I am pleased to announce Jenny has accepted the new and prestigious appointment of Models Direct Newsletter Editor. |

The rest of our superb first class team; Jane, Cristina, Amelia, Paula, Phil, Wendy, Jerry, Linda, Suzy and Bernard continue to forge ahead in promoting the services of Models Direct. They are without doubt, the very best professional Model Co-ordinators in the industry; only models registered with us have these twelve dedicated professionals working everyday full time on their behalf securing new assignments in everything from photographic shoots, fashion shows, exhibitions, catalogues, advertising, promotions and films.
Talking of films . . . Models Direct is set this year to develop our international business expansion programme into America - the undisputed worldwide centre of today's filmmaking, music and entertainment industries.
Who knows, Universal Studios, MGM, Disney and film studios up and down the east coast of America from New York to Miami could call on a model registered here in the UK registered with us only yesterday!
This is the wonder of Models Direct as the biggest international agency taking our models centre stage into the spotlight not only here in this country and Europe but also into the United States.
Of course it's always up to you the model to say yes or no as to whether you want to accept an assignment. It could be you're having a bad hair day, if a starring role opposite Tom Cruise comes up, ... you can always say 'no'!
We too are excited at opening our American Headquarters and working there on your behalf.
We have some great models registered with us, both amateur and professional and with enthusiastic new faces joining us every day we could be using pictures daily of men, women and children from all over the UK for US casting directors, photographers and producers to choose from.
In the 11 years we have been established, Models Direct has grown to be the UK's foremost model agency. We look forward to even greater success in 2002, taking us onward and upward and sprinkling more stardust along the way.
