| Models Direct, Europe's largest model and promotional agency representing professional and amateur men, women and child models in Europe is extending its operation to America in the fall to recruit 'new faces' and provide opportunities both throughout the US and Europe for modelling and promotional work in the film, TV, fashion, photographic and advertising industries.
Launched in 1989 in the UK, Models Direct represents people from Italy, France, Germany, Holland, Belgium and Spain and will now be offering these models appearance work in the US. Similarly, US citizens interested in modelling and film work can now have the opportunity to be registered to appear all over the US as well as the UK and the other 15 countries in the European Community.
Models Direct US headquarters will be based in Florida from where they will administer their national American operation, including recruitment of new faces from anywhere in the us and the appointment of Assignments both in the US and overseas.
Heading up the Models Direct operation in the US will be the founders of the European business; Damian and Suzy O'Connor.
As part of their international expansion programme Damian O'Connor commented; 'Events last year in America have made the whole world listen and realise the value of life. In that process we are drawn together sharing one world. By expanding Models Direct to embrace the US, we are pleased to be able to play a small part in that international effort and provide a very real and immediate opportunity for the international exchange of personal talent.'

Quite simply, not only will a models 'look' be put forward by the team here whenever a model with their look is called for by clients in the UK, but also, the United States Models Direct team will have pictures and details of each registered UK model, and they will also be available to be put forward directly to clients in America.

Photo Updates
Keeping your photographs up to date is very important. The photographs you submit are the ones that the clients see and make their selections from. Its in your best interest to keep these up to date and make them as clear as possible particularly for babies and young children because their 'look' changes so frequently. And remember, if you are on a three year programme, it is FREE to update them.
Tip: Take the photographs outside in good daylight as this will avoid getting red-eye. Take it in a neutral background like a park and try to wear plain colour clothes otherwise the photograph may look too busy.
