| As we go into the Spring, we need to give our hair lots of tender loving care in order to get over the damage the cold and central heating has done during the winter and to get hair in the peak of condition before the summer sun gets here. |

Your hair is one of the first things that anyone notices, so it needs to always look at its best.
It’s no wonder our hair can end up damaged, with the weather and things we do to our hair when we use colouring, perming, blow-drying, tongs and irons.
Be gentle with your hair especially when it’s wet, use a wide toothed comb to de-tangle and don’t tug as you will damage the hair.
Go to the hairdresser and get a good cut regularly - even if you are trying to grow it, you still need the ends to be trimmed as you will find that your hair grows faster if the ends are not split.
If you are changing your style its fine to consider what the latest fashion is, but your hair type and face shape also need to be taken into consideration when making the decision of what style to go for.

Use a deep conditioning treatment with essential oils and rich conditioners once a week with a lighter conditioner each time you wash it. If your hair is very dry, try using a leave in conditioner.
When the summer gets here remember just one hour in the sun can make hair rough to the touch as it breaks down the outer layer of your hair, the cuticle. Use a sun protector conditioner made specifically for the hair. If your hair is coloured this is particularly important as the sun will fade your colour and make it look very dull. These products do not mean that you will have greasy hair as lots of them are repairing conditioners which wash out and leave your hair looking wonderful.
