What do you do when you need a dog for an assignment? This simple thing to do is call Models Direct - we have ‘Star Pet’ animals on our books.When we got the call from the magazine Eureka, the brief was quite clear: a friendly mid-sized dog for an editorial shoot in Wimbledon. The search pulled up a selection of different dogs, but the one that took the eye of the client was ‘Alfie’. He is a Drogue De Bordeaux, placid and friendly. When I called his Mum, Carley, to discuss the assignment she was thrilled. Alfie lives in Essex, so we organised a journey route for the day and all was set. On the day, the assignment went well and Alfie had a great time : “Alfies assignment went quickly and smoothly. At the studio Alfie was made to sit in the back of the car whilst a model petted him, he behaved fine after his initial excitement and all went well. The photographer said he got some really good pictures and overall I was impressed by the friendly approach and efficiency of the team.” Alfie had fun, enjoyed the limelight for the afternoon, and was paid for his efforts.
