Baby Kyla got her first booking the day she registered with Models Direct! At just 19 days old Kyla's first assignment was a shoot for the new Mama's & Papa's catalogue. And according to mum Katrina: "It was a very enjoyable and successful experience for all of us – most of all Kyla who was an absolute star that day!" Kyla's day started very early as the family travelled from Birmingham to London to arrive for the shoot promptly at 9.30am. Katrina told us: "We were made to feel comfortable while they finished preparing all the equipment. In the meantime I gave Kyla her feed so that she was settled during the shoot, and listened to the director as she briefed me and my partner, Leroy, on the kind of shots she was after – thankfully she wanted Kyla to be sleeping which was great because that's all she does after her feed!

"Once the shoot got started, we watched proudly as our beautiful girl was cradled by a lovely model posing for the camera… the model was really enjoying holding Kyla and even forgot she was being photographed as she was rocking her like a proud mother would – which was quite amusing as she was supposed to be still for the camera! The shoot couldn't have been more successful. Kyla slept the whole way through and looked gorgeous. I was very impressed by the staff who were friendly and made Kyla's first assignment a very pleasant and exciting experience. The director was very happy with the outcome of the shoot but nothing could beat the delight felt by me and Leroy – as proud parents we returned home and now look forward to future projects for our little angel!"
