Rural Crafts Association
Model: Suzanne
When the Rural Crafts Association introduced a fashion show feature at its fair, it couldn't have asked for a better model than MD's Suzanne. For not only was she a former visitor to the fair, she was also happy to take on extra tasks – such as collecting tickets – when she wasn't on modelling duty!
The Rural Crafts Association wanted a friendly, professional fashion feature for the event, and spokesman Karen Hall-Sears told us: "Suzanne was very nice and fitted in well with the family-run atmosphere; she worked well as a model and also helped out taking tickets, etc when the fashion shows were not taking place – she was very personable and easy to work with. We discovered that Suzanne had already visited the fair in previous years with her partner and he actually came in on the Sunday to do some Christmas shopping!
"This was the first time we had used a fashion show feature at our fair to promote some of our exhibitors' work and I think both the exhibitors and our visitors thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the exhibitors even borrowed Suzanne throughout the day to help promote goods on their stalls."
Suzanne earned £1,495 for her work and commented: "I thoroughly enjoyed my time modelling jackets, handbags, jewellery and beautiful wraps. I found it a worthwhile experience."
