Hello! My name is Jemila and I am an assignment coordinator at Models Direct. I am responsible for organising assignments and making sure that our clients work with the most suitable models on each and every assignment. I get a great deal of satisfaction after an assignment goes ahead – it is fantastic when models are selected for work and when a client is pleased with their performance.

If you have been offered a place by our National Selection Panel, it is because we have seen your potential as a model and want to promote you to our clients. Your photographs are a key element in this and are incredibly important. Modelling is an extremely competitive industry and it is essential that we constantly have the best possible photographs to represent you with. The photos we have on file for you should always be of good quality and as recent as possible.

Our clients can be very specific with their choices. So if you lose or gain a significant amount of weight, or if your hairstyle changes, we need to know about it. Updating photographs regularly is even more important for our baby and child models, as they are growing and changing rapidly.

At Models Direct we do some of the hard work for you – but being successful will always require you to make some effort too. We contact new and existing clients on a daily basis and we organise every assignment down to the last detail, doing our best to make sure everything goes well for both models and clients. In return, all we ask is that you keep us regularly updated so we can promote you to the best of our ability.

Update your own ePortfolio every three months at least, but remember that your online account allows you to change photos as often as you like, at no extra cost – simply log in to your account and click 'Add Photos.' There are also upgrades to Rising Star, Celebrity and Superstar available.
