| Models Direct receives enquiries daily from businesses literally all over the UK and overseas wanting to hire our models. These include photographers and film makers commissioned by advertising agencies, to produce images featuring people usually for advertising and promotional purposes.
If you have been successful and your pictures are selected by one of our clients for an assignment, one of our Assignment Coordinators will contact you.
You will be told the type of assignment, where and when it is due to take place and offered a model fee. The final decision on which model is selected lies entirely with the client.
Help Yourself
You will find it a very useful exercise to look through your own Yellow Pages for local photographers, advertising and marketing agencies and give them a call on a regular basis reminding them you are available for work as a model. It will also familiarise you with any work they may have coming up as well as the level of local demand to you for models of your look and age.
Plus, during the summer months there are plenty of exhibitions, shows and local events where businesses may be looking for models. Think about contacting Event Management companies or local charities and see whether you could get involved in one of their events. Every bit of experience you can gain counts!
Keep in contact with us
We invite models to contact us every 6-8 weeks to discuss what progress has been made and what interest there has been from our clients. And remember... to ensure you have the very best opportunity of securing work, make sure you keep updating your photographs. |
