Hey
girls, what’s in your make-up bag…? |
| Many
women are wary of cosmetics because they are unsure of which colours suit
them. Good make-up hinges on experiences – you learn what suits you by trial and error. Nobody wants to waste money on a lipstick that turns out to be the wrong colour when you put it on at home. But it’s very easy to get stuck in a rut with what you have used for years so be brave and experiment a little! Why not do some research of your own to gain the knowledge that gives you the confidence to choose the cosmetics suitable for you? Take a look in your make-up |
bag..
How old are the cosmetics in there? 6 months? A year? Now study your face
when wearing your usual make-up and ask yourself what it does for you. Does
it enhance your eyes and mouth or minimise your features? Make you look
older or younger? If it doesn’t have the effect you want and your cosmetics
are more than a year old, it time for a change! Make-up that suited you when you were 20 isn’t going to look quite right ten years down the line! Changes in skin tone and hair colour need different makeup shades. The right make-up can take years off your face! Neatly applied make-up can make small eyes look bigger and round eyes look longer. Make-up should always compliment hair colour and complexion. If your hair is jet black and your skin is pale, deep red lipstick and black eye makeup can look quite striking and |
stunning.
If you are blonde, earthy tones look best. If you are brunette, you have
colour freedom!

| "I
have spoken to many different agencies today - and you are by far the most
professional. You have given me a lot of sensible practical information
and advice, this had made me much more confident about what I am doing.
I feel much better about putting my son forward for modelling knowing he
will be secure with this agency. Thank you, you've been really helpful."
Kelly Harrison "My part was basically a dad, in the garden, wearing jeans, wellies and a polo shirt. I was doing various bits and pieces in the garden. I really enjoyed it, it was good fun!." Steve "I enjoyed Saturday and Sunday. The people at the store were really lovely, and I would definitely do promotional work in the future." Jessica "I had a great time. The staff were really lovely. Everyone was very cheerful and made me feel really welcome and relaxed. It |
was
a little crazy running around getting balloons, opening bottles, but in
fact I loved being busy. It was fun when the local newspaper came to do
a story about the opening! We were on page two of the Gloucestershire Echo.
I had a fab six days." Hannah "I enjoyed myself on Friday, and would be happy to do more promotional work. The people were very nice. I was basically handing out leaflets. I wore black trousers and a black top. Thank you for putting me forward." Amy "I really enjoyed working with Hannah, and it was a really pleasant shop!. Basically we handed out balloons, leaflets and drinks." Kerris "Thanks for the lovely email, you've given me even more confidence now." Kelly-Anne " Well, we received the "Offer" pack for Declan in the post this morning and we are |
just
delighted, very proud and so excited - really can't believe it !!!! We were
very impressed with the material which was sent and it was great to see
Declan's picture in print on the letter and on the sheet with the other
models. Just can't wait to see my little darling on "The World Stage", and
I'm sure his Grandma and Grandad will be the same, as will all our friends
who have access to the net!!!!" Teresa & Declan Hay "Just to reiterate our phone conversation - we really, really enjoyed the assignment, the client and everyone involved were fun and friendly, the studio was great and the clothes were funky. Michael was given a couple of T-shirts and we've been promised a copy of the catalogue and some pictures. We had a fun morning, so thank you so much for organising it all - we really enjoy dealing with you." Karen "I enjoyed my day shoot a lot." Gene` Maree |
