Now what?

This is when we have all your details, your photographs, and all the information about YOU – and are ready to put your look out to clients at EVERY opportunity.

This is where we get all the calls saying “Now what?”. So this is what happens.

When a hirer first contacts us they may not have a date confirmed for the assignment – they may not even have a photographer confirmed, so they may contact us to find out what we have.

We will spend time with each hirer – we need to know what their business is, what product or service they wish to market. It also helps us to know what the image is they wish to project. We also need practical information (statistics or stats) like height, age, look, eye colour, skills, talent, hair colour – and just as important to know what they DON’T WANT.

Once we have this information we will be able to forward an accurate search for the client by publishing this search onto our system with a personal code only available to the hirer – it is important they can say “Wow – this agency really understands what I need.”

If the hirer needs further information or photographs they will then be forwarded to them. Often they will go ahead to get someone else to confirm that budget is acceptable, the models are what they want.

We will keep in contact with the hirer until they have made a shortlist and final selection. Any model rates, buyout, exclusivity, payment arrangements etc will all have been discussed before we even call you.

We will then call you to tell you:

• All about the assignment
• When it is
• Where it is
• What will be required of you
• What need to bring
• Any travel allowances
• Any chaperone fees applicable
• Your payment
• Agree with you the fee
• If the booking is for your child - how you apply for a Child Performing Licence

You will have an on-site contact number to call

You can then tell us if you are available for the assignment.

Please remember to tell us if you are going on holiday – or change phone numbers and addresses – it is very frustrating to confirm work for you and not be able to contact you – you will then lose out as we will have to offer your assignment to another model.

Once all details have been confirmed, we will send you everything in writing and call you again to give you an opportunity to ask any other questions you need to be professional, well prepared and to thoroughly enjoy your assignment.

As soon as the assignment has been completed, please write us an email and let us know how it went. Once we have your email we will send you your cheque WITH NO DEDUCTIONS within 10 DAYS.
