When
one thinks of companies who use models to promote their products,
a speed camera detection manufacturer, might not immediately spring
to mind.
Talex is an own brand name for the GPS enabled speed camera detector,
and can be used to pinpoint a position anywhere on the earth’s
surface.
Richard Ward contacted us regarding advertising. They were looking
to take shots to use on their website and for leaflets and brochures
going out nationwide, therefore it was important the right model
was selected.

A middle aged, attractive and smartly presented model was needed
to pose as a gentleman in the car with a Talex camera unit fixed
to the dashboard.
The model booked was Al Fallon – a favourite with some our
regular clients!
Al has done work through Models Direct for Watt To Wear Ltd; Challenge
Business; Unconventional Productions; Echoandbounce; Legoland; Speller
Milner Design / Paxton Access; The Business Production Company and
Echo Vision – all in the past 18 months!

“I
was due to travel to Maidstone for a half-day shoot and had to arrive
there early. Living in central London made it simple to get to and
in general travel in the SE is pretty easy. It was a lovely day, ideal
for outdoor photography. I was to simulate installing a new sensor,
no larger than a pack of playing cards, on the dashboard. The car
used was an open-top BMW Z4 – I just had to wear a long sleeved,
open top, light coloured shirt, and be the centre of focus for the
camera. The job went well, the guys were great, and they have requested
me for another shoot next season”.
Richard Ward commented on the ease of booking with Models Direct,
the efficiency of the assignments department, and on the model assignment
debrief wrote, “This was our first use of any model agency and
we were delighted with Kelly and the model. We will definitely use
Models Direct again, and we would recommend the agency.”
