Party Man!

Be the centre of attention at this years office party.
It's a well tailored jacket that is the main fashion requirement for the coming season for the men, either a sports jacket or suit jacket but it needs to be a perfect fit to carry this off really well.

Paired with good fitting jeans for a smart casual evening out, a crisp white shirt will dress this up or a V necked cashmere jumper with round necked t-shirt under it for a more relaxed look.
Always wear good leather shoes rather than trainers.
Smart is the order of the day for this season, if you need a coat then it has to be a trench coat.
So to go with all that smart appearance, you must follow it through with a good hair cut, make sure that you have had a shave and don't forget those hands and nails. All the little things count if you really want to look the part.

What can I do to help myself?

A frequent question models ask.

There are a number of different ways you can gain some experience and get yourself noticed by clients, not just for adults but children and babies too.

Contact local advertising agencies and photographers, find out if they are using models, what kind, would they be interested in seeing your look?. If they are pass the details onto your model co ordinator who will make contact and try to arrange a casting.

Introduce yourself to the fashion editor of your local paper, see if they have any shoots coming up where models are needed and explain how you would love to be featured. More often than not there is no fee, but its great experience and not only gives you some professional photographs but a brilliant start to your modelling portfolio.

Introduce yourself to charity shops, local fashion boutiques, and bridal or hire companies as a new model who is looking to gain further experience and see if they are will use you in their next fashion show. Again there may be no fee involved but it will give you a wealth of experience. If they are paying a fee, contact us as your agent to ensure we negotiate the best fee for you.

Catalogue and brochure work

From the international household names in
clothing catalogue giants to industrial fashion designers and business putting together brochures, models are needed for work.

Everywhere we look people are being used in catalogue and brochures.

Babies modelling bibs and sleepsuits, sitting in pushchairs, carrycots and highchairs.

Toddlers playing with toys wearing brightly coloured new fashions.

Children swimming in pools and from beaches modelling up to the minute 'must have' outfits not forgetting hats and sunglasses.

Club Teens being 'cool' in discos with platforms and halter necks, shades and attitude.
Adults as brides, grooms, farmers, business types, relaxing at hotels and resorts, casual look, evening wear and not forgetting hands holding phones and gadgets, feet and legs in shower trays, hosiery and shoes.

Everyone you see in pictures was paid to be there, shouldn't you be there too?

Daily our bust Assignment Department are asked for new faces, some of the people we send go on to film and music careers, modelling can be just the start. Grab yourself some action and put yourself in the picture.

Are you over 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60? We are always short of mature models. We search our database daily for men and women of all looks to appear in advertising and films etc - so if it’s you, or you know someone call 0871 224 6000 to apply.

UK BT landline calls, to the above 0871 number will cost no more than 10 pence per minute. Calls from mobiles and other networks may vary

Twinkle toes

Proper foot care is essential to healthy, painless feet, and should be as much a part of your daily routine as brushing your teeth. It's never too early or too late to start caring for your feet, and there's a lot you can do for yourself. Follow these tips for good foot health...

Wash your feet every day in warm soapy water (don't soak them, as this might destroy the natural oils) and dry thoroughly, especially between the toes.

If your skin is dry, apply moisturising cream all over the foot, except for between the toes.

Lightly apply a foot powder.

Remove hard skin gently with a pumice stone, but not if it is over a boney area or joint.

Trim your toe nails regularly, using proper nail clippers. Cut straight across, not too short, and not down at the corners as this can lead to in-growing nails.

Keep feet warm, and exercise to improve circulation.

Always wear the right shoe for the job - take a look at our guide to buying shoes.

Seek prompt treatment for burns, cuts and breaks in the skin, and for any usual changes in colour or temperature.
