Working with August One our Assignments Department found male models to play Superman for publicity shoots for NPower's Local Heros campaign in selected UK cities.

I arrived at the AMC Cinema, the photographer, winner and her family arrived and we introduced ourselves. I got changed into the superman outfit, and by 9:30am we were ready to shoot. The photographer selected the best positions that show both the cheque with the winner`s name and NPower on it, and the AMC logo. He then took different shots and the whole thing was "Just wanted to let you know that the superman assignment went really well yesterday, I had lots of fun and the people were great. Also thanks to Steph for being so good, she kept me informed at all times and was always available to answer my questions." (Albert) |

How do we promote you? As a co-ordinator at Models Direct I am often asked by models and clients how do we promote our models? We are a very pro-active agency who can offer a range of different models located all over the country and internationally. This is attractive to many clients looking to book models. Clients will call the assignments department after seeing our advertisement or maybe by recommendation or repeat business. Our assignment co-ordinators will take the client's details, how many models they are looking for, the type of look they want, the nature of the assignment, location of the shoot and the client's budget. Once we have all these details we can then put a specialised search together of models that would be suitable for that particular assignment. The results are published to our website and once the client has gone through a full integrity check they are then given a secure code to view the |
selection of models we are proposing to them. This way of working ensures that yourphotographs are put forward to clients each and every time your look is called for. You are not being selected from hundreds of faces, but just a select few. Some agencies are 'show case' agencies, this is where a client can go on their website and view lots of different models to see if there are any that would be suitable for their assignment, this is time consuming and not very pro-active. Modelling is competitive, so it is essential that you ensure your photographs are up to date and the best they can be and this will make your face stand out above the rest! |
