- "The photo shoot was very, very good. For Polly's (the model) first job she was excellent, we're very happy & everything went exceedingly well. We may have another shoot coming up next year and we'd like to use Polly again, she gets the thumbs up from us!"
Dave, Product Manager, Typhoon International
- "The event was very good indeed. Suzanne was very nice and fitted in very well with the family run atmosphere, she worked well as a model and also helped out taking tickets etc when the fashion shows were not taking place. She is very personable and easy to work with. We discovered that Suzanne had already visited the fair in previous years with her partner and he actually came in on the Sunday to do some Christmas shopping! This was the first time we have used a fashion show feature at our fairs to promote some of our exhibitors work and I think both the exhibitors and our visitors thoroughly enjoyed it. Some of the exhibitors even borrowed Suzanne through out the day to help promote their goods on the stalls. We would like to use Suzanne again for our forthcoming fairs this year."
Karen Hall-Sears, Rural Crafts Association
- "Both the photo shoots went fine, the models were very good, we kept them busy and we actually ended up achieving more than we expected. The images came out really well."
Carmel White, Action Storage Systems
- "Sally was lovely, very cooperative and accommodating and a pleasure to work with."

The event was in aid of the 5th anniversary of Lanebridge Investment Management Limited. It was supposed to be a thank you for all of our investors and business colleagues who have supported us. We raised money for Christies as well.
With regards to the girls, they acted very professionally and now they have the experience to do others. They were all very well presented, asked relevant questions if anything was unclear, were quick learners and generally helped me / us make the night go in accordance with our plans. There was a few problems which arose during the course of the night, particularly during the raffle but the way in which they dealt with any problem by informing me so that I could deal with it was great.
Finally, the guests really appreciated them which I suppose is the main thing...... I believe they also enjoyed themselves!
Thank you for arranging them.
Simon, Lanebridge Investment Management
- Shorefield Group: As with previous years, the photoshoot was organised to serve a variety of purposes for the Shorefield Group (6 family run holiday parks stretching from Swanage in the West to Milford on Sea in the East).
The photos will be used to promote a whole range of the company's
products:
* self-catering holidays
* touring holidays
* holiday homes for sale
* health & fitness club memberships
* day spa and hair salon treatments
* Weddings, banquets and functions
The models were playing the roles of a typical couple visiting Shorefield - sometimes in the role of a holiday home owner, then a self- catering holidaymaker, then a health club member etc.
The shots will form the majority of the Shorefield holiday brochure and will also be used in the sales advertising, on the website and in local advertising for the leisure and banqueting departments.

- Make-up Makeover and Models Direct:
Looking good in the workplace, in everyday life, with friends, family and at
home has never been more important than it is now. Everyone is more
visually aware in the 21st century and everyone is equally aware that it takes
time, effort and energy to present ourselves as women at our best. Being
healthy, trying to be happy are paramount but being satisfied with the way we
look to others is just as important.
Kathy Fairbairn Executive Producer of Make-up Makeover a brand new 13
part TV series about how to get the looks we want with the time and money
we’ve got is more aware of it than most.
‘I wanted to make a show’ she says ‘that could show all women how to make
the best of themselves with the often limited time and financial resources that
they have available’.
‘The right make-up artist and the right model were vital to show just how
straightforward it can be to get the look you want with what you’ve already
got, yourself and your own make-up bag’.
Shot over two days in London in was a whirlwind experience for everyone
involved. ‘I always aim for a quality level way above the resources we have to
work with, there’s never enough time or money in television but everyone on
the all female crew wanted this to work’.
‘We couldn’t have done it without Models Direct.’ She says. ‘The first thirteen
episodes of the show are an UK/Hungarian co-production and it was critical
that we found a Hungarian photographic model with the right qualities for the
show. We had to find her in the UK and we had to find her fast. With Models
Direct we did. They came up with suggestions within hours of our first call and
recommended Zsanett Janosi. Zsanett perfectly embodied the everywoman
quality we were looking for. Naturally beautiful and a perfect blank canvas for
UK based film and TV make-up artist Jemma Harwood to demonstrate a
variety of looks with.’
‘We couldn’t be happier with the service Models Direct provided’ Fairbairn
says. The staff are efficient and helpful and you felt they really cared about
the models. Zsanett herself was professional, friendly and courteous over two
very long shoot days. We’re certainly happy to work with Models Direct and
Zsanett again as we’d love to repeat the experience’.
Make-up Makeover, every woman’s guide to making the best of what they’ve
got with who they are and without breaking the bank at the make-up counter,
premieres in the UK and Hungary later in the year and is available from
www.tvmake-up.com on DVD.

- “James was extremely professional yet friendly, he was a pleasure to work with and he looked fantastic in our kits. His physique allowed him to fit out the garments very well, allowing us to really display the style and design of the garments. He was a gem and went down very well with our female staff members!”
Jane, The Soccer Company
- “Brian and Paul were an absolute pleasure to have on board. Friendly, professional, resilient and reliable. They were both very reliable, both on location bang on time and in place for filming as soon as they were asked to. They remained professional at all times and were resilient in the face of a whole day filming in very cold conditions- they didn't complain once, in fact they were the complete opposite, always smiling and cooperative. They interacted incredibly well with their fellow colleagues for the day and likewise with the crew. A really good find and 2 people I have already transferred into my contact book for future filming. Best wishes to you all.”
Rachel Rosser, Associate Producer Town House TV Productions
- “Yesterday was a great success with over 400 leaflets distributed to the depressed commuters of Norwich. The girls were superb in both attitude and presentation. Many thanks”
Paul, Jim's Mowing Norfolk
- “The shoot went very smoothly, and despite this being Rob's first assignment he did well. Many thanks for your efforts.”
Dave Smith LRPS
- “I am emailing to confirm my appreciation to you for finding and providing us with a first class model, in such a short period of time. Charlotte was brilliant! She was punctual, personable, well prepared and above all very professional. We had various different shots in both smart and casual attire; Charlotte approached each shot with enthusiasm, providing an image that we were hoping for. We did some slightly more casual shots towards the end of the morning, which again turned out really well. Charlotte was a delight, and I think she enjoyed it herself. The photographs are going to be used on the marketing material and web site for Titan Personnel and will provide a wealth of future advertising material.”

Our first advert was to be featured in Vogue magazine, so a professional result was vital. We contacted 'Models Direct' who offered a great selection of little darlings and were able to organize everything at very short notice.
On the day of the photo shoot, 'Tia' the gorgeous 17 month old model arrived looking even sweeter than she had in the pictures. Her cheeky grin and beautiful blonde curles, angellic, yet mischievious. She had the exact look we wanted for the shoot.
The photographer started off with some really serious shots, sitting, standing with some real sultry poses. Tia relaxed straight into it like a true professional. For the second half of the shoot a bouncy ball was presented to Tia- who's little face lit up! We started to get some amazing action shots, her facial expressions were fantastic and the energy really radiated.
Tia was a real pleasure to work with. The final photograph that we decided on captured her up-beat personality and added fun to the t-shirt. An over all quirky and eye-catching result. Many thanks to Models Direct.

- “Despite the rain, shooting was carried out well and everything was perfect. All models came 20 minutes early, I was so grateful for their professional attitude. Thanks for giving such good efficient help. The models told me you are a really good booker and you certainly saved my life! It was fun, models were very cooperative and seems they enjoyed the work too.

- “When photographer Alexander Caminada was planning his next lifestyle shoot, he turned to Models Direct for the right person. Alex was looking for a girl who looked ‘normal’ and not too glamorous yet healthy and fit to help him produce some new images to place with stock agencies. Alex selected Louise Ward from a good choice of models that Models Direct presented to him.
The shoot took place in Alex’s Cotswold studio and surrounding gardens. His main aim was to get Louise to look natural and ‘real’, showing her health, beauty, fitness and happiness. Louise was perfect for the task ‘she had an uncanny ability to produce just the right expressions, postures and mannerisms that I wanted’ says Alex. ‘At the end of the shoot I had more choice than I expected to get out of 4 hours working together.’
Alex found that Louise’s attention to detail and preparation before the shoot really helped in getting the right look. Louise brought a large wardrobe selection from sporty gear to smart casual.
Apart from shooting lifestyle for stock agencies Alex’s main clients are in the corporate and editorial sectors who keep him extremely busy with a varied range of commissions. ‘I will certainly do more lifestyle work this year and I’m already planning the next shoot’ he says. ‘There are some nice houses around the Cotswolds and it would be great to use one of these for the next location’.
‘My real passion is photographing people and I’ve been very fortunate over the last 25 years in having every kind of face in front of my lens. From celebrity prima donnas to big bosses in business to people sleeping rough on the streets, all of them really fascinating’ says Alex. Alex’s website is www.caminada.co.uk where you can find a selection of his most recent work.

- “The Shirt Factory trades under the names of 'Rutherford Blue' and 'Rutherford' - we are just over 3 years old and manufacturer premium shirts and knitwear to over 50 independent retailers throughout the UK and Eire. Although our wholesale business is growing each season we feel that we need to have a presence on the internet and launch our own on-line store. In order to give the site a professional look we decided to hire the services of a model agency - which has worked out fine. This first shoot was very much a leaning curve for us, but was made easier by the professionalism of the model supplied and the ease in which he took our requests on board.”
The Shirt Factory - Clive Woodroff
- “Logistik design and communications agency selected Models Direct to provide models for the filming of a food and beverage video for a family holiday resort. The finished video is played on the TVs installed at all accommodation throughout the UK sites. On a tight filming schedule the models were professional and pleasant throughout. Their positive attitude allowed the crew to move quickly, maximising the locations to deliver the clients requirements.”
Jenny Butler, PR & Marketing Executive, Logistik
- “Once Jordan had gained the confidence of his co model for the day he soon warmed to the task ahead. We have enjoyed particular success with the rock pool shot which has been used in many of our publications to date.”
