The Churchill Theatre

Alex, Model Ref: 196533

Model Fee: £450

Alex was asked to spend an afternoon reading a book in Debenhams' shop window to promote a new Matthew Bourne theatre production. He said this about the assignment...

"It felt really good, very empowering, and it really helped boost my confidence."

The Churchill Theatre approached Models Direct when they needed a model to take part in a promotion for world famous choreographer Matthew Bourne's new production of 'Dorian Gray'. The theatre's diverse promotional campaigns created especially for Bourne's adaptation of the classic created a unique opportunity for a model with the right look.

When the organisers got in touch, Models Direct worked hard to find them a model who matched their exact requirements. Model Alex was snapped up for the campaign immediately. Even though it was his very first time modelling, our assignments team was quick to put him forward when his specific look was called for.

The assignment required Alex to spend a Saturday afternoon sitting in the window of a Debenhams store in Central London reading a copy of 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' - dressed in nothing but a pair of white boxer shorts! The promotion was a great success, with Alex attracting lots of attention from the ladies (and a few men!) walking past the shop window.

"I had a lot of fun," says Alex. "It felt really good to be a model for the day - very empowering - and it really built up my confidence. It was a good experience." Alex was absolutely delighted with his first assignment for Models Direct and is looking forward to receiving his next one.
