Who doesn’t love Westfield? I love both shopping centres with so many mega names and shops to explore, places to eat and simply just to chill! This booking blog looks at…drum roll, please! The Barbie launch at the one and only Shepherd’s Bush Westfield!
Love her or (we won’t say hate) but not love her so much, Barbie has been an iconic doll for generations to enjoy – 64 fun-filled years! Whether it’s been roleplaying, making up imaginative stories in the Barbie world or watching the animated Life in the Dream House to now the summer hit live-action movie with the two leading stars – Margo Robbie and Ryan Gosling, alongside many other famous faces, Barbie is repainting our screens with her fav pink hues and lots of fun!
It’s made sense that brands and companies are catching onto this trending colour again and using it to help launch their products and services, all thanks to Barbie’s inspo hue. In our modelling agency’s case, two of our fresh talent were selected as promotional models and invited to dress the part in shocking pink, all set at Shepherd’s Bush Westfield. Diya and Marcus got to explore and promote the new Barbie film, ahead of the press release before its official launch took place.
Diya (BBFR-4497)
Check out the behind-the-scenes images of our male and female models. All dressed in pink, Diya’s ready to apply some lippy, with Malibu Ken – Marcus – smiling beside her in their Barbie World.
Marcus took some great snaps to share on his Insta feed. We got a good idea of how some of the set up looked for the day through his camera lens and his funky captions. The neatly packed clothes and aligned accessories displayed the organisation for the photo shoot and how well-prepped it was!
Marcus (SMDZ-8938)
Marcus also explained how he’d still rock his suit if he had the chance with a cool mirror shot to show off his hot pink blazer and trousers.
Without creative feedback like this, our agency, our models and our audience would never get a chance to have a peep into a live-action assignment. Models Direct usually receive written feedback, directly submitted to our HQ or online via Trustpilot.
Our team has stepped it up and is encouraging our models to take snaps and even Insta reels, whenever it is appropriate, during a tea, lunch break, pre or post-production. We welcome all our models to do the same if they get the chance so that others can step into their shoes and see the assignment through their eyes. With the new summer film out and set to kick-start promotions, it’s moving in the right direction and we’re all feeling pink!
