We’re totally unprejudiced about age, although we class our mature models as being over the age of 40. If there was ever proof that the more mature amongst you can be in the spotlight, take a leaf out of Judi Dench’s book. This year the legendary English actor became the oldest person to appear on the front cover of the British Vogue…at the magnificent age of 85. The daughter of the ex-M in the James Bond films was quoted talking about her mother: “This age thing, I think, affects very much how she feels about herself and this gave her just that little boost of confidence to make her go, ‘Oh, maybe I’m still okay.’ Then, of course, after the photo shoot, she came back literally thinking she was Beyoncé!”

Take Elizabeth, who finished her first assignment recently. Patricia, Reference: CB695733. Tuesday turned out to be an amazing day! 7.30am saw myself and two other models along with film crew in Battersea Park to shoot an advertisement feature for Birra Moretti promoting a new venture into catering. There were three vintage Fiat 500s along with their owners and the morning saw us being filmed supposedly delivering ingredients to private homes to create food for a dinner party. The highlight of this was being driven backwards and forwards over Albert bridge weaving in and out of the traffic to enable the camera crew to get the shots they needed!! We then moved to a private house to be filmed delivering ingredients and then cooking a meal. It was a fun filled afternoon with much laughter - the video and camera men were brilliant at setting up the shots they needed and so helpful in their directions. The makeup lady ensured we looked our best and supplies of refreshments were readily available when needed. As usual Molly had given clear instructions regarding requirements for the assignment - thank you Models Direct for a memorable day.

Santander photoshoot - Yesterday, I was involved in photo shoot for the Santander Pension Scheme Website, It was a great experience, I enjoyed the day and would like to thank Models Direct for getting me the job. Everything was well organised, I was given plenty of notice and sent clear details and information about the shoot. At the location we were met by the Ferrier Pearce representative: Meqele who was extremely professional and accommodating. The other models and I were well looked after and given adequate breaks and plenty of food. The photographer and director were both good to work with, giving clear explanations, encouragement and feed back. I thoroughly enjoyed being creative on set with my lovely "family".
