If you’ve ever been lucky enough to work with big brands, you’ll know that the experience is truly unique, particularly if you’re working towards pushing a meaningful message out into the world.
When it comes to modelling for those big brands, the process is simple. If you’re registered with our modelling agency, Models Direct, you’ll hear from one of our modelling specialists who will fill you in on the big brand’s brief. They’ll tell you all about the where, when, how and even why the brand is promoting their latest material utilising your help and assistance.
So what is it really like to model for a top-tier client? We’ve rounded it up right here, although most points will apply for any sized company you’re hired for so it’s a win-win no matter what.

It’s an eye-opening experience
Working with any new client is a new experience and an eye-opening one at that. Models will get to see first-hand how the big brand works, their ethos, what it stands for and how you’ll be helping them get their latest campaign out there.

It looks great on your modelling CV
No doubt, working for a top name will illuminate your CV so if you’re happy to go ahead and work side by side with a prestigious name, go for it! It’ll look brilliant on your modelling career history.
It gives you exposure to working with industry professionals
Whichever brand you work with, expect to be in contact with leading industry professionals during your time. We’re talking: company members, production crew, and hair and makeup professionals.

It potentially opens more opportunities
Working with a leading brand may help you to access more modelling opportunities further down the line. This could be with the same brand, a sister brand or someone else they’re connected with.
It enables you to network
You’ll have the chance to speak to other models if you’ve been booked as part of a group or with the people on set making the assignment happen. You can network by following each other on socials and checking what they’re posting.
It allows you to show off your skills (and learn some new ones!)
And, of course, there’s no doubt about it – you’ll get the chance to showcase your skills as a new or existing model, and, get the chance to learn some new ones too. Whether it’s poses or expressions you haven’t tried out before, injecting dialogue into the assignment or even showcasing a special skill you can do like juggling or skating, working with a big brand will help boost your confidence and self-esteem.
Our modelling agency, Models Direct, has worked with big names across a plethora of industries. Some of our clients have included Sky, TfL, Morrisons, Coco & Eve, Aviva, BMW and Gtech.
We’ve gathered some great feedback our big brands have left for us to read based on how our lovely models have done for their assignments. Check them out right here to see what the experience was like through their eyes:
Transport For London had a photographic assignment that they needed our models for. They expressed:
“My booker was efficient, very professional, and patient. Talent booked did very well, happy with the natural look of the shoot. Excellent job for first-time models. They embraced their brief in a professional manner and made it look like a natural scene. Happy to use again – Very easy to work with, good range of talent available, flexible and professional.”
L’Occitane left us with this straightforward yet positive review:
“Efficient and quick service from Models Direct – Assignment went perfectly with the models selected doing great on the day. Would definitely use it again in future! Thanks”

Finally, Durham University hired our female models and left us with this feedback:
“The coordinator couldn’t have been better, the process was quick and the assignment went very well. The models were lovely ladies, both very professional. I would use the agency again.”
It’s interesting to see how modelling is from both the models and the client’s perspective. Our modelling agency values both sides and is always intrigued to see how both felt before, during and after the assignment to get a fair opinion of the interaction and experience.
