Versatility is a useful trait all our models must have at some stage of their career. Models who adapt are used in a wide range of jobs and are highly valuable by the people who really need them – i.e. employment agencies like us, and our notable clients.

Often, though, the perfect job crops up, and flexibility isn’t all that important; sometimes our models are so perfect for the role that they can just be themselves and the rest takes care of itself.
This was one of those assignments.
Anchor specialises in providing housing for over 55-year-olds. They have homes available to rent or buy throughout the UK, and for more than 60 years they’ve been the preferred choice for people wanting a relaxed lifestyle later in life. Naturally, the models they required for this recent shoot were of the mature variety, and we gave them a sample of ideal older models from which they made their decision.
Anchor serves nearly 70,000 residents across the country, employing 9,000 trusted staff. They’re always looking to improve their services, and marketing is a large part of their future successes. Any brand or non-profit organisation (like Anchor) knows the value of progression. In terms of marketing, companies cannot afford to remain stagnant. Models are a crucial component of moving forward and getting a brand’s message across to valued / potential customers. Anchor knew that we could provide them with a small group of commercial models for a photoshoot for their website and social media posts, and we rose to the challenge.
Step up the six Models Direct models chosen for this national modelling photoshoot: Ellie, Kevin, Andrew, Valletta, Elizabeth and Bobsie. All models were recommended to Anchor by one of our wonderful booking agents, Charlie. She was as keen to hear how the photoshoot went as much as our models were eager to provide their feedback.

“I thoroughly enjoyed this assignment, which was my first ever,” wrote Elizabeth. “There was such a nice vibe! I loved working with my colleagues and the lovely photographer, who put us all at our ease. Daniel was very kind and helpful and I just felt marvellous. It was freezing cold, and the outdoor shots were hard on those who hadn’t brought gloves, but it was great fun. We also had a lovely lunch, which was a nice bonus! I’d love to do more of this kind of work in the future!”
Ellie said, “I was very well supported all the way by Charlie, Models Direct’s booking agent. She was able to answer all my questions and was extremely reassuring, given this was my first assignment, ever. She made regular contact prior to the assignment and followed up afterwards with all the feedback I was looking for. I cannot wait to work with Models Direct again.”

Supporting models is crucial to their development. We want all assignments to run as smoothly as possible, so it’s our responsibility to ensure our models are safe and enjoy their jobs with us.
Kevin added, “It was my first modelling shoot, too. It was great, I loved every moment. The other two models with varying levels of experience were great fun and lovely to speak to. The photographer was a really nice fella with a great sense of humour. My first modelling shoot was such a good experience I can’t wait to do more.”
New models doing a fantastic job with a national client. Does it get better than this?
