ASE Corporate Eyecare

Models should always be looking for different ways to use their talents in modelling assignments. Some know that certain physical characteristics are better suited than others, and models shouldn’t just concentrate on one single feature. How many models have perfect hands or incredible hair perfect for a number of our clients, only to focus on their face instead? Diversity is one of the reasons why the commercial modelling industry appeals to so many ambitious individuals, and it’s never been more true than a recent assignment for three of our models for ASE Corporate Eyecare (ASECE).

The company is based in East Sussex, equidistant from Hastings to the south and Royal Tunbridge Wells to the north. As a leading supplier of eyewear for employees, ASECE required a trio of commercial models with bright facial features and sparkling eyes to pose for stills wearing protective eyewear for their advertising campaign. It proved an example of how models should use their features to their advantage. If you’re a model (aspiring or experienced), you should always think about other facets of the modelling world, and how you could succeed in assignments you’ve previously not thought of. We have placed many models in jobs for hair modelling, hand modelling and all manners of body parts modelling – so why not eye modelling? We hope that at the very least it has given models fresh ideas!

Our chosen adult trio were Sonia, Santiago and Ruth modelling eyewear and highlighting the importance of health and safety in the workplace. ASECE has an extensive range of eyewear, including VDU (Visual Display Unit) glasses for whilst working on laptops and tablets, products designed for drivers, and industrial eye protection to shield workers from chemicals, projectiles and radiation. Eyes are one of the most sensitive of body parts, so our models enjoyed being part of an ad campaign to help employees work safely. It’s not just ultra fashionable sunglasses that need to be promoted in our business!

Maintaining employee’s eyesight is something all companies should endorse, so this assignment was especially significant. Sure, our three models enjoyed the day – which involved donning various work outfits and meeting new people in a relaxed environment – but if there’s a serious point to make from an assignment, so much the better!

Ruth commente; “Models Direct is an amazing agency [allow us to take a bow!]. They keep in regular contact with updates and necessary information. I had the best day! It was so much fun in a really relaxed environment with friendly people who took such good care of us. I was fully equipped and confident. I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for a reputable modelling agency.”

We pride ourselves on several aspects of our work, although we place organisation and keeping our models updated as a priority.

Santiago reiterated Ruth’s sentiments; “The shoot was very good indeed! In the morning they picked us up from the train station and drove us to a farm with plenty of outdoor and indoor spaces to shoot. We had various role-playing duties, including dressing up as construction workers, engineers, office staff, lab scientists and doctors. The atmosphere was relaxed, fun and friendly.”

So there you go – the eyes have it! Another successful modelling shoot for a top client with an emphasis on keeping employees safe at work with their brands of protective eyewear.
