First off, this sounds so yum! We might get sidetracked a bit with the idea of cooking up Morrisons Tomapork steaks – rib-end pork loin steak, edged with pork belly left on the bone drizzled with black pepper basting butter – on a sunny summer’s day around a BBQ or the oven but we’ll try and stay focused on telling you about our partnership with the giant British food retailer, Morrisons, and our modelling agency, Models Direct.

Father’s Day Initiative
Morrisons Gourmet Collection has bought another 100% British winner to the table for this year’s Father’s Day. Packed with a punch and at an amazing price, this great quality product had people flocking to stores for an under a tenner winner. For the meat-loving legends out there, this was the perfect gift. So when Morrisons requested for us to collab with them for this latest marketing campaign, we jumped at the opportunity.
Sean Gill, Head of Meat at Morrisons, says: “On a day that is all about celebrating the Father figure in your life, we wanted to offer a restaurant-quality dish that can be enjoyed by the family for a fraction of the price.”

Plating it up
Morrisons requested a male model for an on-set photoshoot with a plate full of succulent-looking Tomapork steak. Our model was incredible – you have to check out the images and see his animated expressions. He was utterly convincing and when we saw the results, we felt like picking the steak right out from the images. It was a simplistic but effective campaign. Each image focused on our MD model and the juicy meat. There were no frills or anything fancy schmancy because there was no need for anything extravagant or flamboyant – just a meat-loving hero with the protein-fueled plate.
