Models Direct enjoys working with teenagers – so when we were asked to find young people to help the UK’s leading youth homelessness charity, we jumped at the chance.
Here in Britain, one young person faces homelessness every four minutes and Centrepoint is there to offer help and support through a variety of means.
And to illustrate the vital work it does, it requested a team of teen models to pose for a series of photographs…
With a vast array of teen models on our books, we were able to put together a suitable shortlist – and among those chosen by the charity were Bianca, Emmanuel, Katrina, Nikhil, Taysha and Tom.
The young people were all eager to take part; they knew the shoot would be fun as well as extremely worthwhile.
Alongside its partners, Centrepoint supports almost 14,000 young people every year and campaigns vigorously to end youth homelessness by 2037
It helps them to find secure housing and provides safe spaces for young people to build independent futures.
The photo shoot aimed to highlight the work of the charity and saw our teen models pose as youngsters requiring help.
They all enjoyed the experience and were quick to give us their feedback.
Katrina said:
“It was a friendly environment and the instructions on what to do were very clear, both before and during the shoot.
“They had everything prepared and, all in all, it was a very enjoyable day.
“Lunch was amazing!”
Bianca agreed, telling us:
“I enjoyed working with Centrepoint – it was a very pleasant experience.
“The people on set and the models were very friendly and kind – they made me feel comfortable.
“Thank you for this opportunity.”
Nikhil reported back:
“It was a great assignment and we had a wonderful team looking after us for the photo shoot.
“It was a really enjoyable experience.”
And Taysha said:
“Working with Models Direct was super fun!
“The team made me feel comfortable and confident throughout the day.
“There was never a dull moment even when we weren’t taking pictures.
“My experience was fun and I am glad that I got to be a part of it!”
Emmanuel’s parent gave us feedback on his behalf, adding:
“There was excellent communication all the way through when my son was shortlisted through Models Direct.
“It was a brilliant service – Models Direct is simply amazing (the best!) I will recommend them again and again!”
