Models Direct has always been proud to represent people of all ages, looks, backgrounds, heritages, abilities and sexualities.

Diversity shines brightly in absolutely everything we do – from the models we agree to represent to the clients we work for and the assignments we send people along to.

We have been in the business for a long time now (over 35 years!) and we are busier than ever, finding work for our models and forging new relationships with big-name clients.

We have seen many changes in the modelling, fashion, advertising and entertainment industries over the years – most of which have been for the better.

Our agency has always been diverse but now we are thrilled to see so many others choosing to operate in the same way.

Clients, production companies working for them and media outlets all opting to accept the fact that each of us is unique, special and beautiful in our own ways.

Here at Models Direct we celebrate our differences: our models are of different appearances, looks, heights, skin colours and body shapes.

They reflect the general public as it really is – made up of a glorious variety of individuals.

We have many models with disabilities on our books, people who may be put forward for general assignments or for those where a model with a disability is specifically requested.

We have mature models, who may be required for a promotion particularly aimed at consumers in their age bracket or for any shoot requiring a group of normal, everyday people like you or me.

Looking to hire models?

We have a magnificent array of different models on our books because we enjoy representing, promoting and working with them.

And because they are the very people our clients want for their campaigns, advertisements, films and television programmes.

To find out more about the spectrum of models we have on our books, read the feedback we receive and dip further into our blogs.

Listen to the words of our models themselves as they are the very people who can get to the heart of what we are like to work with.

Jeanette, for example, took part in a shoot for the Business Disability Forum. She told us:

“Today was the first time I went to modelling shoot.

“I’m a deaf client, which can be hard, but I am still managing and it really went well without an interpreter.

“It was a good experience for me and I enjoyed it.

“There were such lovely people there.

“Thank you Gemma for contacting me via email and text – there is no barrier for me this way.”

Alex was employed to take part in a booking with the ZoieLogic Dance Theatre. He told us:

“Thanks again to Models Direct for my second modelling experience!

“This time it was for a new men’s mental health campaign called the Big Movement.

“The team at ZoieLogic Dance Theatre was very welcoming, explaining what was going to happen throughout the day.

“Being a wheelchair-user, I was very nervous but the atmosphere was very positive and uplifting which gave me the confidence to be part of the shoot.”
