Family modelling with Models Direct can be varied and fun while offering the chance to earn a little extra money doing something you enjoy.
And we aren’t always asked for two parents and two or three children – no, sometimes family modelling assignments require either just Mum or Dad and a little one.
In addition, it is also worth noting that some of our clients approach us looking for blended families, single-sex parents or family groups with three generations.
Sometimes they ask for families with babies – and at other times they request families with teenagers.
There are no rules as to what a modelling family should look like therefore if this is something you think you and your nearest and dearest might enjoy please contact us.
Female model Dominique and her young son Cairo made the perfect team when we were asked to find a marvellous modelling mum with a gorgeous youngster for B&Q and Shelter.
As usual, we perused the e-portfolios of suitable models on our books to find a shortlist matching requirements and then left the client to make the final selection.
Dominique and Cairo were chosen and they went along to take part in the shoot in Stockport for the national DIY chain’s Christmas campaign with housing charity Shelter.
Now, if you are new to modelling, you might assume that most festive photo shoots take place in the colder months – but this just simply isn’t the case!
No, working on these Christmas projects can be so involved that many of them take place during the summer!
In fact, right now, when the weather is warmest, some of our models are out there finding themselves wrapped and trying to look chilly for the cameras!
Well, Dominique and Cairo were true Christmas stars when they posed to support B&Q and Shelter’s seasonal campaign.
And, after taking part in the shoot, Dominique gave us her feedback and told us how she and Cairo found the experience.
She said:
“Everyone we worked with today was really welcoming – they made me and my little one feel at ease.
“Direction was clear on what we needed to do and my three-year-old took to what was being asked of him quite well and with all crew members that were there.
“They told me that for a three-year-old on a first shoot, he had done very well, which was great and reassuring to hear.
“Also hearing directly from the photographer that we had taken the visual shot that he was hoping for, was a very awesome feeling.
“This shoot has a very moving concept and we feel privileged to have been chosen to be a part of it.
“The additional unexpected gifts that were given to my little one at the end of the shoot were really kind of everyone and greatly appreciated – he absolutely loves his Christmas-themed, musical bear!
“I would also like to say thank you to Charlie for the opportunity and for continually checking in to make sure that any questions we had were answered, and that we were happy as well as up to date with everything that was happening.”
