One glorious afternoon in mid-May, London’s Hampton Court welcomed a group of delightful children adorned in high-end children’s wear from Pepa London. But they were joined by a fluffy, cute addition for the day.
The sun was out with blue sky and fluffy white clouds. It was the perfect day for being outdoors and enjoying the warm atmosphere, but our Models Direct modelling agency was part of something bigger than just soaking in the sun.
Pepa London was on a mission and teamed up with us for the first time to launch their new children’s wear collection. The 12th of May was the big day for a major photoshoot. This one came with a twist, as even though our agency usually sees our models in new campaigns, this time, all eyes were on our fluffy star pet named Cheddar!
Pepa London was looking for a dynamic element in their marketing campaign to perfectly blend in with their British-themed apparel for children.
And if it was regal heritage they were after, they certainly got it as our selected pet model was the perfect addition to their snaps. Cheddar’s a corgi, so it made sense to feature an animal so loved by British royalty who oozes charm, cheekiness, and confidence on and off screen to tie in with their baby and children clothing boutique.
The stills produced are exquisite, and Cheddar was absolutely amazing. He was happy to be out and about, but certainly enjoyed all the attention he received from his fellow child models and all members of the crew, as well as from his owner Emma (HKGX-9463), who was by his side, but on the other side of the camera!
We asked if Emma would provide us with her feedback on behalf of Cheddar, and she was happy to go ahead and leave us with this:
“We were invited to take part in a children’s wear shoot for a high-end brand at an iconic location! The sun was shining and everyone was super friendly & accommodating to Cheddar, ensuring we had everything we needed to keep him happy & cool in the heat. He had plenty of breaks between shots to rest, and his safety was a priority when shooting outside. Models Direct supported me throughout the process with detailed briefs, emails & phone calls in the lead-up, and a follow-up phone call afterwards to see how it had gone. Shout out to Gemma, who is always great to chat to & answer any questions. Thank you.”
What a great review! We couldn’t have asked for more, and our MD team is so pleased to hear that Emma and Cheddar both enjoyed the assignment.

Our star pet really was a star, and we’re impressed with how it all went for him, Emma, and Pepa London.
