Servomex

Published: 25th Jan 2022

It was all systems go in Bournemouth when three of our male models were thrust into the limelight for an exciting photographic booking. “Systems” being the operative word, as our male trio were working for Servomex – a large company specialising in manufacturing and management systems.

As commercial modelling goes, this was a prime example of what anyone can achieve with us. Well, maybe not anyone, as all our models require a degree of determination and commitment, but this booking certainly emphasises that commercial modelling is one of the most accessible of modelling genres out there.

The booking kicked off with Dorset-based Coda Communications, who were working on behalf of Servomex. Their team contacted us, informing our booking team that three male models were required for a photoshoot for Servomex’s website. The company is part of Spectris PLC – an instrumentation firm listed on the FTSE 250 Index; quite a coup for our models Waleed, James and Gregory.

The plucky lads were asked to pose as models for a shoot detailing the company’s gas installation practices. The role of an engineer was required, as was that of a customer. As much our models thoroughly enjoyed their experience and valued their roles in producing valuable images for a notable website, it needs emphasising that not all modelling work is glamorous. Oh, the shock! Glamorous? Perhaps not. Enjoyable, necessary and worthwhile? You bet! Debutant model James sums it up perfectly:

“It was my first time doing a modelling shot. It was for a new website for a gas installation, and I was playing the part of an engineer. The company hire was with Coda Communications for Servomex at Picture House in Bournemouth. All the staff were friendly and approachable, and I made some new friends. I didn’t feel nervous because of the crew’s friendliness and the environment. Everyone respected each other, and the crews worked nonstop. Big thanks to Models Direct for recommending me for the shoot. Always super friendly and made sure I was well equipped and prepared for the day. It was a really good experience which gave me motivation to undertake more modelling shoots.”

Let’s dissect James’s fab feedback and stress some key points for all models – whether they’re just starting out or experienced:

·       There are always opportunities for new models. We should know – our client list is growing all the time!

·       Models meet new people every day, working with talented, professional crews.

·       All our models are prepped and we’re always available to answer any questions. In fact, we have a full-time team at Models Direct HQ and all our models have their own desk telephone number – help is just a quick phone call away!

·       Modelling is enjoyable, and our models genuinely respect their self-worth. There’s nothing better than honest, well-paid work with valuable contributions and brilliant feedback!

The Servomex modelling assignment helped them strengthen their ecommerce presence by using our male models to portray real-life situations on their new website. It was an all-round win-win for them, and our models. For more Models Direct reviews, click on the link:  https://www.modelsdirect.com/reviews/
