Modelling is always a powerful experience that leaves people feeling lit up, energised and glowing with success.
But one particular assignment certainly saw our male models overflowing with vitality and fully wired for any future bookings that might come their way.
Gloucestershire-based DIS Health and Fitness Ltd approached Models Direct to see if we could help them find a pair of fellas who were happy to Feel Electric.
Electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) is a type of electrotherapy that stimulates muscle contraction using electrical impulses in order to strengthen weak muscles.
And combined with other fitness activities and a healthy diet – as in Feel Electric sessions – it can help improve muscle strength.
Our client requested two male models to help showcase the facilities and treatments available at its health and fitness studio in Chelmsford.
And when we supplied them with a suitable shortlist, they selected Mark and Aaron.
Our dynamic duo was asked to arrive in comfortable, clean sportswear, and both were given EMS suits to wear during the photo shoot.
They were asked by a qualified personal trainer to perform squats and lunges etc, creating the illusion they were taking part in an EMS session.
Photos were also taken as they posed in the studio’s new red-light therapy chair.
It was an interesting session, and Aaron, who has been booked before by Models Direct, told us afterwards:
“Everyone was very welcoming.
“This was my second time back shooting for them.
“The staff there were friendly and I would work for them anytime.”
And Mark added:
“Gemma gave me all the information I needed and kept me well informed about everything that I needed to know.
“It was a first experience of modelling and, despite being a bit nervous, it was great fun and I would definitely recommend people to try it.
“I will certainly accept an opportunity again if asked.
“I’m 65 soon and it’s fun meeting and being around different people for all sorts of reasons.”
In fact, no matter what your age or level of experience, this just goes to show that modelling really can be electrifying!
