Models Direct is no stranger to working with charities and vital support services – we are often called upon to supply models for some exceptionally important organisations.
Among them is Alzheimer’s Research UK, a charity that funds scientific studies to help find ways to treat, diagnose and prevent all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s.
In recent times, we have sent various models along to different assignments for the charity – and on this occasion they approached us for someone to take part in a park photo shoot.

Our agents read the brief from those overseeing the project for Alzheimer’s Research UK and put together a shortlist of suitable models for the team to consider.
They selected two people for the job, one of whom was our male model Alan.
Alan was asked to pose for a range of different shots in the park in Cambridge, including some that suggested he was taking part in a charity, fundraising run.
Photos were also taken in the gym and in an office setting.
Alan was thrilled to take part. He felt it was a very worthwhile cause and said he was well looked after by both Models Direct and the crew on the day.
He told us afterwards:
“I had a fantastic first day’s shoot.
“My call came first thing in the morning from Gemma.
“She explained everything clearly and concisely – she was very supportive.
“When I arrived the team where very friendly and supportive.
“I felt at ease straight away.
“I was treated well and enjoyed my first-ever shoot.”
