Models Direct Reviews - From our Baby Models

SWEET DREAMS The assignment went well and the client was very patient and accommodating. It was a lovely calm atmosphere, and although Ruth cannot speak for herself, I can say that she felt very relaxed. The best thing about the day was seeing it all came together, and realising how much hard work goes into these shoots. Ruth had to sleep, which may sound easy, but it is hard to get a baby to sleep on command. Nevertheless, it was fun trying.

PLAYING THE ROLE We had an early start to the day but Harry arrived in good spirits. He had to play an unwanted baby and therefore the shoots were natural shots of him in the other models' arms. It took an hour or so to get enough pictures and he was really good. I'm really glad it went smoothly as it's obviously a little nerve wracking being his first assignment. We were made to feel incredibly welcome and everyone was lovely which made for a nice, relaxing experience.

DOUBLE TROUBLE It was very exciting. Harrison and Jake seemed interested and happy to participate and sit in pushchairs as required. Both Harrison and Jake were asked to model sitting in various pushchairs for a pushchair accessory shoot. Sun shades and winter snugs were used on the pushchairs with Harrison/Jake demonstrating the use of the accessory. I dressed the twins as requested by Jakki who was very good with Harrison and Jake who seemed at ease throughout our assignment. It was a great start and introduction to Harrison and Jake's modeling.

ENJOYING THE ATTENTION Elsie was very content and happy throughout the shoot. She had a few change of clothes and change of props. She remained calm and looked like she enjoyed all the attention. The photographer was really helpful and good at getting Elsie's attention. They were very patient when it came to feed time and gave Elsie time to have a breaks. I was pleased with the whole experience and hope to have more to look forward to in the future.

GAINING EXPERIENCE The assignment went well. Sofia has now gained some modelling experience.

A NATURAL! The assignment was fun for both Mirah and myself and very interesting. Being a model for the day Mirah seemed to feel at ease and happy with the people around her and her surroundings. The best thing about the assignment was seeing how Mirah reacted to the situation which was in a very positive way, she seems to be a natural in front of the camera. I was asked to put Mirah in her high chair while a scene was filmed with a women who was meant to be her mother. some thing I would say to someone thinking of being a model is  If you think your child is suited to being a baby model or in front of a camera with lots of people then give it a go... It makes you very proud to see your baby enjoying themselves and it gives you something to look back on in the years to come. Being paid is also a bonus!  Read more about this baby model assignment

BEACH BABY The 1st assignment, it was fun and Lola seemed to enjoy herself, modelling 7 outfits on the beach. We loved meeting new people and it was something different. Lola had to wear 7 different outfits and model them on brighten pier and beach, all the shoots were natural i.e. playing and running around. Summer (the coordinator) at Models Direct was very professional, giving us all the relevant information we needed. We had fun and are looking forward to other assignments. Many thanks Models Direct. WARM WELCOME Overall the photoshoot was fun and interesting, she was fantastic and laughed all the way through. We received a nice warm welcome and waiting facilities etc were good. HAVING A GREAT TIME We had a great time on the assignment, for Babies 'R' Us.

A PRO ON SET The photoshoot went really well, Leah worked well with them and the photographer came to us and said she did a great job. Leah was great on set and we believe that they got the shoots that they needed. Read more about this baby model assignment

DOUBLE ACT Just finished filming, the twins loved it, everyone made them feel very at home and fun for them.  They really enjoyed all the attention and fuss that was made of them and we look forward to doing the rest of the series. Thanks Julie. Read more about this baby model assignment

The photo shoot went really well. Although we arrived there really late, the people were really really friendly and made us feel at ease. Kayden was wearing a long sleeved top with a waistcoat type thing on top. A pair of trousers and a pair of shoes. Kayden had to sit in front of a mirror while the photographer took photos of him. He kept moving and kept trying to crawl away as there was some toys that kept catching his eye. In the end we had to get his dad to come in to try and get him to stay in one place! All in all, I thought it went well. Everyone was really friendly.

Charlotte really enjoyed the assignment. She was involved in 2 different photo shoots, one for a carpet and one for a bath range. She was happy during the whole 2 hours we were there, and I believe that the lady helping the photographer was excellent at making charlotte laugh and look in the right direction. There were quite a few babies there this time and it was nice to meet them and their parents. Charlotte has now completed two assignments with Babies 'R' Us Annalisa for Charlotte.

This was Jaydens first assignment and naturally we were feeling a bit nervous. But when we got there we were made to feel at ease and Jayden interacted well with the other babies on the shoot. We feel the shoot went well and the photographer said he got good shots of Jayden which made us both happy and proud. Hopefully the pictures which were taken will be used.

We arrived at the venue just after 9.30am where we were introduced to each other and offered tea and coffee. kiarla was given a white baby grow to put on for the shoot which later she was then to take off. There were two other little girls present and their photos were taken first. kiarla fell asleep so I had a little longer wait than was expected but this wasn't any trouble at all as everyone was polite and very helpful. kiarla was given a towel with a hood and a plain nappie to wear for the photos and everything was over within a few minutes. We both really enjoyed it and I can't wait to see if her picture will be used in the catalogue.

I would like to say that Jimmys first photo shoot went brilliantly. We had a fun day, the staff were really kind and Jimmy enjoyed himself.Many Thanks

We had an amazing day,it went really well. everyone was lovely and there was a very good atmosphere.( i took that as a good sign) Jessica did almost everything she was asked to do, But did a few little extra bits that they were really pleased with. she was a good girl all day.

"We arrived at 10:45. Natalie was really excited and before they started filming her she was really excited to get out of her pram and walk about.While the guys were filming her she was really happy and full of smiles.Overall she really enjoyed herself."

"I am writing to let you know how Charlotte’s assignment went on Friday for Celebrity Kids. Charlotte did very well on Friday. Both ladies from Celebrity Kids were fantastic, and so was the photographer. Charlotte happily got changed from one outfit to the next and both girls were very comfortable in front of the camera. They tried 3 or 4 outfits each, which seems little in the time we stayed, but I have to say it was a very slow start, Paris started off and through no fault of hers, the first shots (first outfit) took at least 20 minutes. Charlotte and Paris both got a bit tired and hungry by Midday and it was then a bit more challenging for the photographer. Having said that, they did extremely well under the circumstances and I believe that Celebrity Kids were happy with the results. We left the studio at about 12.45 after offering to stay longer if required. I gave the card for feedback to the representatives of Celebrity Kids but as they had no spare time to fill it in straight away, they said they would do it later and send it back in the post. All in all, a very exciting first assignment. We very much look forward to the next one!"

"Basically, I felt that everything was organised really well. I appreciated the map you sent through and the contact details. We drove to the studios on Wednesday and found that it was actually quite hard to get to but this was probably more down to us not really knowing our way around Manchester! I was able to phone through and let Anna know I may be a bit late - she was really nice but I felt awful as you should always be on time. However, we arrived just about at 10ish so it was all ok. Everything seemed to go ok - Beth was smiley and happy most of the time and we were done by 11am. The conclusion is that we are so pleased we had the chance to do this and would love to consider it again if it ever comes up! "Hi, Ben had his first assignment which was a photo shoot for a magazine. We all had a good time and was made very welcome. Ben was great he had to sit on a pink and blue rug with some dungarees and white t.shirt on. It went really well one of the ladies there said that if Ben wasn't happy just to sit there he could have some food on the rug so they could get some photos, but Ben being Ben was so happy just to sit and pose for the camera.
