Here at Models Direct we have teamed up with Alzheimer’s Research UK on many occasions.
The charity approaches us when it requires models to pose as patients or care staff for its fundraising campaigns and events, as well as for general publicity material.
This time, the shoot took place in South London and saw our mature models, Patsy and Philip, head off to King’s College Hospital.
Alzheimer’s Research UK funds scientific studies to help find ways to treat, diagnose and prevent all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s.
The aim of the shoot was to show how those suffering from the progressive brain disorder could still enjoy a good quality of life with the right medical care.
The charity asked us to find them a suitable male model and female model – and, of course, we were able to line up a superb selection of people for them to consider.
From our shortlist, they selected Patsy and Philip – and the pair went along to perform perfectly for the cameras.
Afterwards, we asked them what they thought of us and the assignment itself – and they both came back to give us glowing five-star reviews.
Philip said:
“Just to say, how much I enjoyed the shoot yesterday.
“It was a highly professional event, and I look forward to working with you again.”
Patsy, who has modelled for us before, was also very eager to let us know how well the booking went.
She said:
“I want to say, first of all, how helpful, enthusiastic and supportive Gemma was at every stage of my experience modelling so successfully once again for Models Direct.
“I was glad to do it for such a good cause – Alzheimer’s Research UK – too and found it a very interesting and eye-opening experience.
“The crew I worked with were all really lovely people.
“I found them welcoming and warm, and they offered very helpful guidance and positive feedback throughout the process.
“I could see how passionate they were about Alzheimer’s UK.
“My partner for the day was very pleasant and we got on well.
