Banks, building societies and other institutions provide great modelling opportunities

Published: 6th May 2022

When most of us think of modelling we envisage long, leggy models striding down catwalks or polished individuals posing on the pages of glossy magazines, but, in all honesty, this reflects just a tiny percentage of the modelling work that is out there!

While most modelling work might seem a lot less glamorous on the face of it, the reality is that it can be just as much fun.

It is also a great source of extra income and even a way to work with your family or your partner.

At Models Direct, we team up with a range of clients from smaller, niche, local businesses to some of the biggest brands in the world!

Many are in the fashion world, but others are from different industries altogether and, on the face of it, would seem less likely sources of modelling work, however all major brands have to remain in the public eye: they have to keep trying to entice customers to use them and they have to ensure they never lose momentum in appealing to everyday people like you and me.

And this means lots of modelling work!

Banks, building societies and financial institutions are among those who promote themselves and advertise regularly and require a constant stream of models from us.

Over the years, for example, we have sent many commercial models to photo shoots and film sessions for Santander Pensions.

These models have included the Burton family, who went to London to take part in a photo shoot for a brochure.

The Burtons have been selected for many family modelling assignments by our clients, so are now very experienced.

They enjoy the chance to do something different together and the crews they work with always make sure they are all well looked after.

This is what they had to say about their experience:

“Yet again, another fab day on an assignment for Models Direct. We have had a brilliant day on our photo shoot for a Santander Pensions brochure. Meqele, Ben and Simon all looked after us really well and made the day so much fun. We started our day in a home environment, baking and having fun in and around the house. We then moved on to the Battersea Park zoo: the kids thought it was amazing, especially feeding and petting the animals. We finished off with ice cream and playing ball in Battersea Park. What a fun-filled day, very tiring but lots of fun. A big thanks to Marie from Models Direct for putting us forward for the job. We look forward to more adventures soon.”
