The Severn Hospice does incredible work, caring for seriously ill people and those approaching the end of their life.

It is there to support patients at its excellent hospices in Newton, Shrewsbury and Telford, as well as to care for those who choose to remain at home and require specialist care.
The team also does its very best to help patients enjoy special moments and create important memories with their loved ones.
But all this costs a lot of money and to ensure they can continue to do their vital work they rely heavily on donations.

Many of these sums of money are gifted through wills and the Severn Hospice decided to highlight this through a dedicated section on its website and via its social media pages.
As such, its marketing team approached Models Direct to request a selection of male and female models to help them out.
Our agents were, of course, only too happy to help and sifted through our e-portfolios to find just the right people for the assignment.
The client selected Andrew, Sindy, Gary, Dessi and Paul – and our fabulous five went along to do what they could to help.
It was an emotional day, our team admitted, but they were also impressed with the fabulous atmosphere at the hospice and the care, dedication and compassion of the staff…
Sindy said:
“What a great cause.
“I feel so blessed and grateful to have had my first photo shoot at Severn Hospice Telford.
“I had an amazing experience – everyone from the hospice staff to the great photographic team, other models and makeup artist, was so welcoming.
“Thank you to Gemma and Models Direct for all the support you provided me with through this process.”

Andrew told us afterwards:
“It was a great morning shoot and very emotional.
“I played the part of a sick person in a private room who was greeting his dog.
“The great team from Models Direct helped me a great deal from start to finish.”
Gary agreed, telling us:
“I felt this was a really worthy cause.
“I thoroughly enjoyed the experience – the hospice staff were extremely welcoming and supportive and the production team was very professional and attentive.
“All the other models were fantastic company while we waited for our relative shoots and Gemma kept us informed of any changes and updates regarding the assignment.
“Thank you. This is a fantastic agency.”
Dessi also found it a rewarding experience and gave the following feedback:
“It was a lovely shoot today at the hospice.
“The staff were competent and managed to put me at ease.
“The hair and makeup artist was great and I had a fantastic time!”
Paul had worked with Models Direct before and was not disappointed with how things went.
He said:
“I did another modelling shoot today – this time at the Severn Hospice, Telford.
“I felt humble and most grateful for all the admirable work provided by the staff.
“Once again, I worked with interesting people and every aspect of the assignment was professional
“Gemma from Models Direct provided pre and post-shoot support, which added to making it an enjoyable and worthwhile experience.”
