With 2022 firmly behind us, we can reflect on another highly successful year for our models. We take pride in recommending the most suitable talent to our clients, and this super-duper sporting assignment once again hit all the right notes. We were assigned to put forward two male models for Premier League club Crystal Palace, and Jay and Lamine were the candidates that made it into the spotlight in South London.

Crystal Palace are known as “The Eagles”, and just like the majestic birds, our two models soared to great heights in the area of London equidistant from Clapham Common and Wimbledon. It was a superb day, aiding a globally-known client to bring their legions of fans the latest in casual football fashion.

The modelling gods must have been smiling on the SE25 district, as the shoot couldn’t have gone better. As Jay confirmed, “What an utterly unique experience getting to work with the Premier League Crystal Palace’s marketing team. It was such a professional and focused shoot aiming to bring the best out of the product and myself and another model, Lamine. The clients were so welcoming and great to work with. Very much look forward to working them again!”

“Professional and focused shoot” – was that an intentional footballing pun in there, Jay?

Our two male models basked in the glory of a commercial fashion modelling job located at the club’s Selhurst Park – a highly regarded stadium amongst players and visiting fans alike. The atmosphere is always electric on match days, and Jay and Lamine were pleased as punch to be modelling the club’s range of casual footie fashion wear, from camo hoodies and retro shirts to away scarves to nostalgic 1978 tracksuit jackets. Our duo pretty much took over modelling duty for the fan’s favourite collection of male fashion, ending with modelling Crystal Palace’s “Made in South London” line. But perhaps the crowning glory was Jay modelling the club’s “Panini 1990 Hoodie” – featuring a photo print of the 12 players in the 1990 team, alongside their manager Steve Coppell. It’s surely a “must have” for any Eagles fan, and something that Jay was proud to be a part of.

The Crystal Palace shoot required male models of a certain athletic build, although fitness models were not specifically required. It was another great example of our male models matching the client’s brief to a tee. They even got to see the ground in-between posing in front of the cameras – so if Jay and Lamine are footie fans then this would’ve been an added perk!

A lot of our models enjoy new experiences on their assignments, whether they are novices or old hats on set. For Jay and Lamine, it was a double whammy of bonuses: working with some of the best photo-marketing professionals in the business, as well as absorbing all the thrills associated with being at a Premier League football club.
