Is lifestyle modelling for you?

Published: 25th Nov 2020

From appearing on camera as a friendly shop assistant to taking on the role of a doctor in a television advert, working as a lifestyle model could see you step into almost anyone’s shoes.

One day you could find yourself being a smiling mother playing with a couple of cute children in the park – and the next you could be a jogger out for your morning exercise.

The beauty of lifestyle modelling is that it is varied and interesting.

You get to meet all sorts of people, travel to a range of locations and appear in advertising and campaigns for all sorts of products, campaigns and clients.

Lifestyle modelling requires models of all ages, backgrounds, shapes and sizes – it is aims to appeal to the general public and therefore has to reflect who the general public really is.

Check out our cheerful models who were sent to a designer outlet in Cheshire to pose as happy shoppers on a relaxing day out, for example – they loved every minute of it!

Or read about our group of six who took on an assignment for an online promotional video for Campo Viejo wine. They filmed their scenes over two days, were wined and dined in style and enjoyed the unique combination of a working ambience that was both professional and fun.

“Last week I had another job booked through Models Direct, this time an advert for a popular wine brand. As always I was fully prepped and given all the necessary information beforehand from Molly, who was on hand to answer any of my queries. The filming team and cast were all very easy to work with, and made the two day shoot really enjoyable. I’m looking forward to seeing the footage and to my next assignment with Models Direct.” – Annie

Many of the clients we find models for are seeking to promote luxury brands.

Raj, for example, was taken into the spectacular Derbyshire countryside to pose in in gorgeous Dubarry, Barbour, Schoffel and Gant outfits for Henmores. He loved getting out and about in the fresh air, with such a professional and friendly team, and can’t wait for his next assignment!
