We hope 2026 is treating you well so far and as we skip into spring it’s been everything you hoped it would be.
Very often, we have great aspirations for everything we plan to start, commit to or change as a new year begins.
Then when it arrives, we just don’t have the energy…
Well, here’s the thing: not all new beginnings require a lot of impetus and small steps in a different direction can lead to little changes that really do leave you feeling much more positive.
And this is often what happens when new models make contact with us…
Why become a model?

Anyone living north of the Watford Gap will take glee in confirming London isn’t the centre of the universe. True, of course, but London is undoubtedly the land of opportunity in the UK, possibly in Europe, and even…whisper it…the world. There, we’ve said it.
London is a colossus in most industries. From retail to advertising, finance to sports leisure, technology to healthcare, London has all boxes ticked and firmly taped up. And that means more modelling work.
Therefore, we never doubted that choosing London as our second office was a prudent move. We still offer thousands of commercial modelling jobs to talented people around the UK and beyond because there is demand for it, and that will never change. It’s a miracle of nature that you exist.
That’s a bold statement, but a true one, nevertheless. Whilst some scientists argue over the approximate odds on any one person living in the first place, there is statistically more chance of one individual winning the National Lottery than being born – maybe millions of times more.
It’s a staggering comparison, and it serves to highlight how special we are. All of us.
That’s the beauty of simply being you. We all have some common traits as human beings, but it’s the individual ones that make up our character and makes us unique.
Even on our bad days, take comfort in knowing that being you means that there is no one like you anywhere in the world. Even identical twins are not 100% indistinguishable, and even if they were, their behaviours wouldn’t be a carbon-copy.
So, everyone is a biological phenomenon with something to offer.
Modelling is a rare work opportunity to display uniqueness. Individuality and diversity are embraced more in modelling than in most industries, and that’s not just a quaint sentiment. Whilst some companies pledge to support diversity but in truth offer little, there are hundreds of brands that want to engage with audiences of all looks, all abilities and all backgrounds, and the best way to do that remains employing the best models.Take a look at our blog here –
