When we use the term “real people” for our models we mean that they are everyday folk, not professionals. Our clients have been looking for “real people” to help boost their businesses for as long as we’ve been a registered company – that is, since 1990
Why do many top brands all over the world prefer commercial models to professional models or celebrities? Not all brands seek out the best commercial models; those with seemingly unlimited marketing budgets often approach agents for famous people or high-end fashion models. A quick look at both current adverts and those in the archives from years ago will show celebrities advertising a full range of products and services, from coffee and beer to banks and retail. That’s perfectly acceptable, of course, and we’re sure the adverts were very effective.
But why are “real people” the preferred choice for many brands, and how can they inspire a brand’s marketing department?

Summer Campaign – London Shoot
We had an absolutely brilliant day shooting the Greene King summer campaign in London. The energy on set was relaxed, collaborative, and full of those little moments that make a production genuinely enjoyable.
I had the pleasure of working with a mix of familiar faces and new talent, and the blend couldn’t have been better. The returning models slipped straight back into that easy chemistry we’ve built over previous shoot, while the new additions brought fresh energy and enthusiasm that lifted the whole day.
A special shout‑out to Gemma at Models Direct, who was fantastic from start to finish. She kept me fully informed throughout the entire process — smooth communication, quick responses, and a real sense of care for both the production and the models. It made the whole experience seamless.
And of course… the model of the day — without question — was Lars the Bassett Hound. Stealing scenes, hearts, and probably a few snacks, Lars delivered every look with natural charm and comedic timing that no human can compete with. An absolute pro.
All in all, a great shoot with a great team. Looking forward to the next one.

Children may well be the most important thing in life. The future dictates what our children today will do in years to come.
