We don’t like our models to have many close shaves in their career, but in this case we’ll make an exception. Make that three close shaves!
Wilkinson Sword are renowned for their grooming products – particularly their multi-bladed razors and soothing shave creams and gels. Not to mention balms, moisturisers and shaving brushes to keep the most refined gentlemen in tip-top condition. The company is over 250 years old, and they launched the world’s first four-blade razor in 2003. Smooth, eh? The trusted brand also caters for the ladies with trimmers and manicure essentials, but for now let’s concentrate on the gents for this blog!
Cardiff was the location, and the three male models looking forward to testing Wilkinson Sword’s razors were Tom, Baris and Nico. Form an orderly queue, gents! This was a typical example of an advertising campaign needing commercial models to show hordes of customers the ability of one of our nation’s most familiar brands. Mannequins just wouldn’t cut the mustard, so our three male models were perfect at demonstrating Wilkinson Sword’s razor-sharp grooming technology.
Personal grooming is essential for any modern model, and as Nico admitted, it was a job that suited him down to the ground. “It was a fun day working with some lovely chaps from Wilkinson Sword, laughing as we shaved kiwis with their new razors. Thanks for this fun experience!! So happy to finally achieve my dream of being paid to shave my chest!”

Baris was in the same boat, and his evaluation of this experience was just as encouraging. “It was a really positive experience. Everyone on set and behind the scenes was really polite and they made me feel comfortable, despite this being my first shoot.”
