There is nothing more exciting for a youngster than taking part in a children’s television show – and that is exactly what happened to five of our fab child models.
Models Direct was approached by none other than Sky TV to help them find some budding child models and actors to star in Awesome Animals and Mini Me.
Fronted by Radzi Chinyanganya, the Sky Kids programme is all about the wonderful world of wildlife – and we couldn’t wait to provide a shortlist of youngsters for the creature feature.
The programme, which is aimed at five to seven-year-olds, focuses on a different animal every week, helping them to learn all about the natural world.
And of course, they wanted some bright, smiling faces to help bring it to life.
The process here was slightly different from our normal selection process: the youngsters we shortlisted were all asked to complete an online audition.
And they obviously did incredibly well because lucky Bella, Ethan, Romeo, Aaryan and Sky were all selected to take part.
As part of the show, they were asked to play games, dance and sing.
State-of-the-art technology was then used to create 3D photo-real environments to make it seem as if they were actually in exotic locations.
So was the whole experience animal magic?
Aaryan said:
“It was an absolutely delightful experience filled with joy and excitement.
“I was pampered and well taken care of, making every moment truly unforgettable.
“It was undeniably the best experience of my life, leaving me with cherished memories that I will forever hold.
“Thank you Models Direct for such an incredible opportunity.
“I look forward to more wonderful experiences with you in the future!”
Young Romeo’s mum said:
“Everything was well organised and we had clear instructions on directions, days and times for the shoot.
“The company my son was working for was extremely hospitable, and the customer service from Gemma at Models Direct has been excellent.”
And the feedback from Ethan was just as positive:
“The first day was a rehearsal and photoshoot, it was extremely well organised and everyone was really lovely and friendly. This was then followed by two half days of filming.
“We were welcomed by the film production crew, who were constantly looking after both Ethan and me – and he loved every minute of it.
“All the other children on set were super friendly and they played games in the downtime.
“This was Ethan’s first assignment with Models Direct, after only joining five weeks before, and it has been amazing. He looks forward to more.”
Sky’s family described Models Direct as:
…“wonderful people who are very helpful throughout the whole process when my daughter is selected for an acting or modelling role.
