MODEL BY NIGHT We were asked to hostess for the VIP section of a national rugby game. Once again, really enjoyed the assignment. Very different from the day job (teaching) and a chance to meet some very nice people.
AFTER MATCH ATMOSPHERE It felt great to be a model for a day. The best thing about the assignment was the after match atmosphere when we were able to talk to people. We were asked to meet and greet people, take coats and serve drinks.
RUNNING SMOOTHLY I had a brilliant day and got on well with all the girls. We were asked to take coats, make sure guests were happy and just check everything was running smoothly
MADE-UP The assignment was a good experience. The best thing about it was getting my make-up done and meeting the client. After having my make-up done, I changed into evening wear and had pictures taken in front of lots of different backgrounds with various props.
CATALOGUE GIRL I did a number of different photographs that will appear in a catalogue. I had a great day, the people I worked with were very friendly and made me feel really comfortable.
LEARNING SOMETHING NEW I really enjoyed my two-day assignment. I think the best thing about it was learning new things and meeting new people. I was asked to give out leaflets and bags and wear the company's polo shirt, while being helpful and also providing information.
BUILDING UP A PORTFOLIO The assignment was for a client's make-up portfolio. The client was really nice and welcoming. We worked in a studio and had a few different back drops, where I was photographed in an evening dress. Both the client and photographer were happy with the photos.
MEET & GREET I had a great experience and really enjoyed working with the other models. Our main duties were to meet and greet, and take coats from the guests. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and I would definitely do it again.
'LIFTING' THE BRAND I worked on the Red Rooster industrial stand at the Liftex 2010 exhibition at the Ricoh arena. The exhibition was for lifting equipment, e.g. winches, hoists, etc. I had to distribute leaflets and merchandise to delegates at the event. I walked round the exhibition, as well as standing at the entrance and also on the stand. I gave out merchandise as well as answering simple queries and pointed delegates in the direction of the stand. I really enjoyed the assignment, as it was fun. I also felt I learnt a little about the industry by talking to the employees of Red Rooster, which I found interesting. The best bit was feeling that I made a difference to Red Rooster's success by boosting their brand presence.
BOMBSHELL The assignment was a good experience and it was a lot of fun meeting the other models and guests. The best thing was seeing all the guests have a good time. The event organisers were really friendly. We were asked to greet the guests and show them to their tables, as well as serve drinks. All in all it was a good day.
GLAMOUROUS Our main duties were to meet and greet, take coats, and serve drinks.The best thing about the assignment was when people asked to take pictures with us. It felt very good to be labelled as a model. I felt beautiful and glamourous.
YOU'RE WELCOME The day was well-organised and fun. Our role was to host tables and make the clients feel welcome. The girls I worked alongside were polite and helped throughout the day, while the staff were supportive and grateful for our work.
FRIENDS FOREVER I had a brilliant day and am looking forward to meeting up with some of the girls I met an the assignment.
100 PERCENT It was a great day and the people were very friendly. We were you asked to be a hostess to customers. I would 100 percent do it again.
SECOND ASSIGNMENT This was my second assignment for Models Direct. I really enjoyed the day; all the models and the clients were lovely, and I was very pleased to be asked again. Katie at Models Direct helped me to arrange parking, which was a great help.
A GREAT TEAM I worked with a great team in a good environment. The assignment was very enjoyable and I met some great people.
CO-ORDINATED ELEGANCE It felt extremly nice to be a model for the day, especially since all the girls were made to dress the same, which gave an air of co-ordinated elegance. The best thing about the assignment was meeting new people and to be able to have conversations with people with whom you normally wouldn't. We were asked to greet guests at the door, take them to their seat, take their coats, mingle and serve the drinks.
MINGLING WITH VIP We were asked to waitress and mingle with VIP guests. I really enjoyed it, very different from the day job.
FREE SAMPLES It was a lovely experience. A very professional shoot. Everything ran smoothly. We even finished the shoot an hour earlier. The photographer and the people involved (representing the company, Nelsons, that needed to brand their new product, SpaTone) were very focused, knew what they wanted from the start and had an open, bright attitude. They happily embraced my suggestions, whenever I had any. It was a wonderfully creative group to work with. I think we all made a great team, working together in a harmounious way. It felt light and fun. I also got a small box of the product I was advertising for free.
A TASTE OF VIP I enjoyed the assignment, which was for a VIP hostess. This involved waiting tables and taking jackets. It was an enjoyable day and a good experience.
The assignment was very enjoyable and I met some great people. I was initially nervous, being my first job with models direct, but I got on very well with the other girls and the client. Helped to serve drinks and ensure that the VIPs were attended to.
The best thing about the assignment was being able to be myself. I spoke to a lot of the people and everyone was very kind. I was in charge of meeting and greeting, taking coats and taking drink orders.
The day was a great experience, I was well looked after all day and my role and responsibilities were thoroughly explained to me at the beginning of the assignment. I was asked to be hostess for several tables, including chatting to the clients and taking their coats and offering them anything from drinks to programmes and generally looking after them for the day. The best thing about the assignment was the fast paced, non-stop day that was challenging as well as fun and rewarding.
The photographer made me feel really comfortable and I felt really good about myself. The photographer took lots of head and shoulder shots of me and showed me how the different lights on the cameras work with my hair and eyes. They looked really good, I would definately say yes to doing this again. I really enjoyed the day.
I worked for Sarah Ireland at The Arsenal Supporters Club big charity auction for The Willow Foundation Charity which supports cancer patients. The evening was absolutely amazing, great food, and most of all lovely people coming together for a great cause. I felt proud to be part of something like this and was treated with the utmost respect and was made to feel valued for my service.
I thoroughly enjoyed the assignment. The staff were all very friendly, receptive and welcoming. The assignment was for an NHS campaign and I was asked to represent a lady with back pain.
It was a good evening. Doing promotional work is always great fun. It was also good as it was a charity event. I was asked to wear a football strip and help with a silent auction.
We were asked to recreate a NHS poster. Great shoot, friendly photographer and good directions from creative director. Other models there for shoot were great to work with.
LIVE SHOW I really enjoyed working for Models Direct and with the friendly people from The White Company. I loved the experience of taking part in a live show.
NHS MODEL My assignment with the NHS was lots of fun. I had a great day. The photographer was also really friendly and put me at ease. I look forward to my next assignment with Models Direct.
