Success story: Churchill Theatre (Bromley, Greater London)

When one of Greater London's most prominent entertainment venues needed a striking visual for a bold new theatre production, they turned to Models Direct to provide the right face for the job. Our model was selected to promote Matthew Bourne's reimagining of Dorian Gray at Churchill Theatre, Bromley - a creative and unconventional shoot that saw him posing live in a shop window with a classic novel in hand. It was a standout experience for both client and model.

Models Direct took centre stage when it helped promote world-famous choreographer Matthew Bourne's production of Dorian Gray at the Churchill Theatre in Bromley.

One of the South East's leading live entertainment venues, the Greater London theatre stages some of the UK's best-known shows and requested a young man for an unusual promotional modelling assignment.

Our team leapt into action and came up with a shortlist of suitable male models with just the right look - and the theatre selected Alex.

The venue, which seats an audience of over 780 and welcomes some 200,000 theatre-goers every year, asked him to pose in a shop window for an afternoon, reading a copy of Oscar Wilde's famous novel, The Picture of Dorian Gray.

It was a unique booking - and Alex's very first time modelling - but he thoroughly enjoyed it.

“It felt really good, very empowering, and it really helped boost my confidence.”

Client feedback

“The model was required to pose in a shop window to promote a forthcoming production at the theatre.

It went very well.

Alex was friendly and easy-going.

We would use Models Direct again.”
