Today I was an extra in a Hydrotherapy pool, acting as a client for a physiotherapist. I thoroughly enjoyed my assignment, it was the first one I’ve done. I’d like to thank Models Direct for choosing me for it and I look forward to doing some more in the future.

I was a bit nervous going into the shoot as it was my first, but thanks to the Models Direct staff the made me feel comfortable and welcome. They also gave me that confidence boost I needed. Hi there. So about a week ago I had the opportunity to have a shoot thanks to Models Direct. On the day I met a few amazing artists, a DJ, a rapper producer and a singer. I also met quite a few other extras, exchanged contact details with them. Overall it was just a really good day, fun experience as well and met really good people.
Hi. My name is Emmanuel. I’m a freelance model with Models Direct. A few days ago Models Direct contacted me to do a photo shoot. I met new friends, I met some models, some my own age, some doing modelling part-time some full-time, different parts of London and Scotland and Wales and we had an amazing time. The shoot consisted of 3 artists, I can’t remember the names but one was as singer, one was a DJ and the other was a rapper. What we had to do for that day was dance and sing along. I’m a musician and the fact we were filming a music video with live music, it was completely awesome. Thanks to Models Direct / Models Direct I’ve had some really good opportunities. I had the opportunity to be an underwear model in Birmingham. This was brilliant and I met new people. I also had the opportunity to become an entertainer in Leicester. This was far a wrap battle competition where people competed wrapping presents. This was brilliant. We had fun, they had fun, the audience had fun. I was able to attract a lot of audience in with my performance which was great. Hi this is Catalin. I just wanted to let you know a bit about my experience with Models Direct / Models Direct. I had my first assignment with them about a month ago and it was really fun. It was a fancy dress photoshoot, something I’ve never really done before, it was great, the client was awesome. It was a lot of fun on set and I got a nice pay cheque at the end of the day for not too many hours. I had a good time and I would definitely recommend it. Thanks.
“Hi. It’s Fabrico here. Just giving you quick feedback regarding the commercial shot in Shoreditch. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, despite the weather. We spent four hours on the bus and almost forgot about the cold, although my toes didn’t. It was a great experience for me, the first time I was playing a character. I was asked to be a passenger on the bus, half asleep which was great fun. The team were very professional, friendly and we really, really had a good time, immediately at ease, well cared for, the makeup people (who unfortunately did not do any work on me), costumes and we were even given a cup a soup! So thumbs up, it was great. Whenever you need an Italian looking and sort of ‘daddy’ looking - I’m here. Thank you.”

Really enjoyable experience on site with the other models and crew for Ford Motors Company. Learnt a lot and was treated very well. The other models were top fun to be around and I'd definitely do something like this again. Thanks Models Direct First time doing this sort of thing and really satisfied with how it went.
It was really good to being a model for Ford Commercial cars today, and I would love to do it again. The most enjoyable part of my assignment, is networking and working with other models. I was ask to sit in a mini truck playing the part of the as the driver,. I felt confident and comfortable. Been a model is exciting that's why I decided to join Models Direct so that I can pursue my career in the modelling industry.
The photo shoot for Cineworld was a different, fun and a chilled-out experience and I would definitely do it again. I was a bit nervous as you naturally are but I was also excited because I'm a big movie fan! The most enjoyable part of this assignment was working with a fellow female model. It was really chilled out, we laughed and just had fun doing the shoot; even got some free popcorn and drinks! Who wouldn't want a fun and enjoyable experience? I'd definitely recommend it! This shoot helped me to improve my movement, comfortability and confidence in front of the camera. I joined Models Direct 2 years ago to see if I had potential in this tough modeling industry. At first, I didn't think I'll get much work but the team started to contact me about shoots not long after joining. The MD team have been so supporting and caring from the start! ~ Ramone Watson
This is my second assignment from Models Direct this month, this involved performing (rapping) during a Christmas wrapping competition in Highcross shopping center, I performed and edged the contestants on. Being an entertainer for the day was nerve racking at first but after the first wrap competition I gained confidence. The people hosting and organizing the event were really nice and showed me a lot of support throughout the day. I mostly enjoyed performing to a crowd and being able to attract an audience. I would recommend the experience to others because it was extremely fun to do and allows you to build your confidence . Advice I would give someone wanting to pursue work in the talent industry, is to go for it there are many opportunities and you will be doing different things all the time. Curiosity, Experience, Money and Fun made me decide to join up with Models Direct.
I wasn't too nervous if anything I was excited to see what I would be doing. We were being filmed for a house party for a well known food brand, I was tasked with taking selfies with cut out Instagram board and then joining the rest of the revelers to let loose in the main party scene. My favorite part had to be the ending shot with all of us partying in the main area it was also were we would all get our main camera exposure. It was great fun being apart of the advert and I'd love to get the opportunity to do something like that again. I'd definitely recommend others to look at joining Models Direct with the opportunity to take part in great things like this advert. It shows that you don't have to be a professional but it certainly helps you build a good portfolio for if you are looking to take up modelling or acting etc.
Harry has asked me to relay his experience...He said he was nervous before the shoot but "Dan" from the crew gave him some tips on how to manage his nerves and from there he threw himself into the shoot and really enjoyed it! He loved the live band and has now become a fan.The scene was a "live" party with 360 degree cameras and Harry and the other models were asked to dance and enjoy themselves while eating the "snack" being advertised.Harry says he definitely feels more confident and would like to access more modelling work. I really enjoyed the assignment as an extra for Walkers Christmas campaign and met some lovely people. It was my first experience as a model and it was a real eye opener. The crew were professional and I would love to do more of this kind of work. I wasn't nervous because we were given good directions and the nature of the assignment was explained well. Models Direct are a well run and professional agency and I'm looking forward to getting more work through the agency.
This assignment for Bullring shopping center in Birmingham was very intriguing and the actual content of the build up to Christmas is important to some. It felt great knowing that a positive impact could be made interacting with the public. Looking forward to my next one. Thanks Models direct.
We were shooting a promotional feature with Northshot productions for an internet stock investment site. We all had a great time - the crew was very professional. They really put us all at ease. The production ran smoothly and we all got out on time. I'd do it again in a minute! Thank you Models Direct!
