First I would like to thank Gemma and Charlie for their constant care and support at Models Direct. My latest shoot in care home was an amazing day. Helping to support those amazing people in there both residents and the staff. My day working alongside other models from Models Direct was amazing some as carers some like me as a resident and another playing a chef. With the chef I went through what I would like to eat for the day from the menu...filming walking around the grounds....chatting to other residents or the carers. Having a dance with another resident to keep us fit.....it is a full day filming with three very professional camera men who kept us informed as how they wanted a scene done....please be committed and the smile at the end of the day must be the same at at the beginning. A wonderful day...ready to do another....

I wasn't nervous before my shoot with the NHS. I had fun chatting to the 'doctor' on the shoot. I just had to lay in bed and answer questions about my reason for being in hospital, then I chatted with the 'doctor' on being discharged. I didn't necessarily learn new skills as I am used to working on stills shoots, but I would recommend this type of work as it is all great experience. In terms of joining an agency, I think you have to be patient and not expect too much too soon. I signed with Models Direct because they approached me.

It was her first photo shoot and so naturally she was nervous… however, the client was extremely friendly and professional and put her at ease. My two dalmatians were booked to appear at a Christmas 'animal movie magic' event, held at Two Rivers Shopping Centre in Staines. As this was Bongo and Boris's first assignment I did feel a little nervous beforehand as I didn't know what to expect, but we all ended up having such a fantastic day! Bingo, Boris and I enjoyed the huge attention we received by the general public and this was a great experience from both dogs. Everyone loved having their photos taken with them and it was such a proud moment to see Bongo's poster up on the Two Rivers billboards. This has definitely been a good experience for both dogs and something useful to put on the portfolio as well as probably having some good photos to show as the local paper came to take photos. We decided to join Models Direct to show off our dalmatians as they're very well behaved and classic looking dogs, and they certainly seemed to please all that met them today!
