I had a fantastic experience on my first modelling assignment. From the moment I arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional, which immediately put me at ease. The atmosphere throughout the day was relaxed and enjoyable, making it a great experience from start to finish. I had the opportunity to meet the team, the photographer and my fellow model before heading out to various locations around the town centre for the shoot. The photographer gave clear direction while still allowing everything to feel natural, and everyone worked together so well. It never felt rushed or stressful, and there were plenty of laughs along the way. Overall, I had a wonderful day, learned a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was exactly the kind of positive introduction to modelling I had hoped for, and I would happily take part in similar assignments again.

First JobWith this being my first job in the industry I didn’t really know what to expect. However from the minute I got to the job I was made to feel at ease but also throughout the day. This lovely video feedback from our model Zane for his assignment filming a commercial for Pukka pads last week! On Wednesday I had my first assignment through Models Direct. We did 2 commercials for Pukka Pads. One was for a Puka Fun Colouring Book where we used iPads to scan it and it would come to life and it was really cool. The second one was for this really cool putty and I had just an amazing time.

My 6-year old son had his first photoshoot yesterday and it couldn’t have gone better. We met fantastic people, the whole team that was involved in the project was extremely nice. The atmosphere was very friendly and relaxed which made it so much easier for my son. He was part of a four-hour photoshoot and I didn’t think it would be as easy as it was. He enjoyed every minute of it, and kept saying how awesome it was all the way back home:) I also liked how although it was a fun and friendly environment - you could tell it was a very professional and highly organised event, where my son had to follow instructions and I think he did really well thanks to the all the people surrounding him on the day. Amazing first experience that left us all with hope to do more of these!
