JUMPING IN THE AIR
At first I was nervous, as I didn’t know what to expect given that this was my first assignment, but meeting the Action Images team and the other models made it really easy for me to just get on with the job. The best part of the assignment was having the pictures taken and acting out scenarios - the experience as a whole was brilliant. The assignment was for the FIFA 2014 World Cup campaign. We were asked to wear colours of the teams that were participating as well as having our faces painted. Once we were all dressed up we had to pretend to celebrate a goal, or jump in the air etc - acting like fans would at a real game. I gained a lot of confidence, as the team made it really easy for me to be myself and just get on with it. I would definitely recommend my experience to others, in fact I already have because I got a lot out of it, and it would be nice if others could so as well.I would highly advise anyone pursuing a career in the talent industry to join an agency, as it just makes the whole process much easier and for a fraction of the cost. My main reason for joining up with Models Direct was because my friends told me I should do modelling and this agency was very appealing to me. I don’t regret it one bit.

Today was an exciting and rewarding day on set for my modelling shoot. From the moment I arrived, the energy was upbeat and everyone on the team was welcoming and professional.
The creative direction for the shoot was clear, and I loved seeing how the vision came to life through styling and set design.
During the shoot, I felt confident and focused. The photographer gave great feedback, and the atmosphere on set made it easy to stay comfortable in front of the camera. We worked through several looks, each with its own vibe and story, which allowed me to explore a range of expressions and poses.
I appreciated how collaborative the experience was — everyone was working together to get the best results.
Overall, I left the shoot feeling proud and accomplished. It was a long day, but so worth it. I learned more about how to move with intention and respond to direction quickly, which I know will help in future shoots.
I’m really excited to see the final images and grateful for the opportunity to work with such a talented team

Fun and Comfortable Background WorkThis was a background role in the recording for TeamViewer.
There was an actor in the main role, and we/models were part of the office environment as background. It was a comfortable and easy role.
Gemma’s instructions were very clear, and her support was amazing—not only did she inform us exactly about the plan and what was expected, but she also offered reassurance throughout the day, even with a “safe drive home” message once it was finished.
I met amazing and interesting people, and it was a pleasure to have engaging conversations and share some laughs.

I took Logan who is 18 months old to Weybourne Beach to model clothes for the Next winter catalogue. He had a great time playing with the other children and being on the beach. He had to get changed into the clothes that were provided and then we went down closer to the water with a boat and some cliffs in the background and Logan had his photo taken. The photographer and crew were very friendly and Logan loved them! He had his hair trimmed by the hairdresser which was done perfectly and made him look really grown up. I think the most enjoyable part of the assignment for Logan was being on the beach playing with the pebbles and being around the other children. This was Logan's second assignment though Models Direct so he is gaining experience in front of the camera. I would definitely advise people to join this agency as everyone is so friendly and helpful and it is a great experience going out there and getting dressed up to have your photo taken for a big brand. I originally decided to join Logan up with Models Direct as he has a very distinctive look as he has a big afro so I thought it would be nice to try and show all his hair off and get him into something like this. Before this assignment I hadn't updated Logan's e-portfolio for a while, but I will definitely start updating it more regularly again now! Thank you, Elishia
