JUMPING IN THE AIR
At first I was nervous, as I didn’t know what to expect given that this was my first assignment, but meeting the Action Images team and the other models made it really easy for me to just get on with the job. The best part of the assignment was having the pictures taken and acting out scenarios - the experience as a whole was brilliant. The assignment was for the FIFA 2014 World Cup campaign. We were asked to wear colours of the teams that were participating as well as having our faces painted. Once we were all dressed up we had to pretend to celebrate a goal, or jump in the air etc - acting like fans would at a real game. I gained a lot of confidence, as the team made it really easy for me to be myself and just get on with it. I would definitely recommend my experience to others, in fact I already have because I got a lot out of it, and it would be nice if others could so as well.I would highly advise anyone pursuing a career in the talent industry to join an agency, as it just makes the whole process much easier and for a fraction of the cost. My main reason for joining up with Models Direct was because my friends told me I should do modelling and this agency was very appealing to me. I don’t regret it one bit.

1st timeI’d like to start by expressing my genuine appreciation for finally being given the opportunity to take part in the recent commercial shoot for Greene King at Cheadle Hulme. This was my first modeling experience with Models Direct since joining back in 2023, and overall, the day itself was incredibly fulfilling. I thoroughly enjoyed being part of a vibrant set, meeting new people, and contributing to scenes I didn’t expect to be involved in — it truly gave me a glimpse into the potential of what this career could be.
That said, I do feel it’s important to share some honest feedback regarding the process leading up to this point. While I’m grateful for the experience, I can’t ignore the fact that it’s taken nearly three years to receive my first assignment. During this time, I’ve seen others come on board and secure shoots within a couple of months, which has been difficult to witness as someone who’s been committed to the journey since 2023.
I understand that opportunities in this industry can be unpredictable, and that sometimes it’s about timing and fit. However, the wait has been disheartening at times, especially without consistent communication or clarity on how I could have improved my chances. I say this not out of complaint, but out of a sincere desire to be considered more actively moving forward.
The shoot reminded me how much I enjoy this space, and I hope this can be the beginning of more regular opportunities. I’m committed, adaptable, and ready to bring more energy and professionalism to future assignments.
Thank you again for the opportunity — I just hope it won’t take another three years for the next one.

Everyone we worked with today was really welcoming.
They made myself and my little one feel at ease.
Direction was clear on what we needed to do and my 3 year old took to what was being asked of him quite well and with all members that was there with him. They told me that for a 3 year old and his first time shooting, he had done very well, which was great and reassuring to hear. Also hearing directly from the photographer that we had taken the visual shot that he was hoping for, was a very awesome feeling.
This shoot has a very moving concept and myself and my little one feel privileged to have been chosen to be a part of it. The additional unexpected gifts that were given to my little one at the end of the shoot was really kind of everyone and it is greatly appreciated...he absolutely loves his Christmas themed musical bear.
I would also like to say thank you to Charlie for the opportunity and for continually checking in to make sure that any questions we had were answered, and that we were happy as well as up to date with everything that was happening.

A BRILLIANT DAY
For my assignment I was advertising a new medical product. I was instructed to pose in different positions with the product, some of which were with another model and some by myself. As this was my first assignment with Models Direct I was nervous beforehand, but as soon as I arrived on site I was welcomed by the directors of the shoot, who were very nice and calmed my nerves straight away. The other model I was working with had a lot more experience than me which was very useful and I felt very welcomed into the modelling environment. It was a brilliant day and I learnt a lot of new things. I would definitely recommend the experience to others as it was a fun, new experience, and a great opportunity to meet and work with some experts.
