I would say it was a fun experience I got to do things I have never done before for example I've never been to shoot before so as my first time it was really fun we got to sit down and watch Netflix as the camera man was shooting and we were actually chatting while that was happening.
I got to meet other models they were pretty kind and nice to talk to.
It was a fun experience I would love to do it again and it was definitely what I expected.

My first assignment with Models Direct (MD) and an exceptionally positive one. Jake, the director for the shoot, was very friendly and made everyone feel comfortable and important to the project - to update the clients' promotional image. The camera crew were polite and obviously skilled in their profession. Kate, make-up, was lovely and encouraging (and took years off me, with just a few dabs) and even gave me a new hairstyle, which was flattering. My fellow MD models were all warm-hearted, friendly and mutually supportive. One of them, Gill, soon had us all disclosing our hopes and dreams in the quiet moments between shooting, not quite the Spanish Inquisition and far more pleasant - no torture involved ! All in all, a wonderful introduction into the world of Models Direct

Today was my very first ad shoot, and I have to say, it was an exciting, fun-filled, and eye-opening experience.
From the moment I arrived at the studio, there was a buzz of energy in the air. The team was welcoming, and everyone seemed to be in their zone, preparing for what would turn out to be an unforgettable day. As we got started with the first few shots, I was amazed at how many people were behind the scenes, coordinating everything to perfection. The lighting, camera angles, and even the smallest details were all being adjusted to ensure the best results.
It was fascinating to see all the effort that goes into creating a perfect shot. While I expected there to be a lot of waiting around and setting up, the team made it smooth and fun with music, laughter, and light conversation. By midday, I felt like I had settled into my role and was having a blast.
It was not just about posing; it was about feeling the moment and connecting with the camera. I definitely felt more comfortable as the day went on, and there were several moments where I genuinely enjoyed being in front of the camera.
I would also thank my agent, Charlie, for her constand and prompt response to every query I had and in making this process as smooth and memorable as possible for me. In short, my first ad shoot was a thrilling experience. It was everything I hoped for and more, and I can’t wait to do it again!

CLIMBING IN CONFIDENCE
The assignment Models Direct sent me on with the National Trust was really good fun but I was very nervous because I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. In this modelling shoot I had to overcome my fear of heights as we were asked to climb a tree for the photos! But the photographer was nice and helped a lot. The tree was easy to climb, there were five of us in the tree and we had lots of pictures taken in different poses. In the end I enjoyed climbing and got more confident as I climbed higher and higher. I think everyone should climb trees because this was what the National Trust says is good for us. I would say that being a model is a great way of doing new things and learning new stuff. If you want to be a model you should join an agency and try to keep your e-portfolio up to date. I did this for the experience and have enjoyed my work as a model.
